My Lightning benefited from a windage tray. They tend to swirl oil when held at rev,”burn out”. But I think it’ll last the weekend.

I thought it would make more, especially on E85. Maybe gearing? I know bolt on lightnings respond like Terminators do and they make similar power.
A fbo lightning won't make but 400/500 maybe little more they don't make as much hp as terminators but they do make more torque by comparison.
Also he's dyno in 4th 5th is 1:1 and it would see more in 5th.

The stock rods in the Lightnings had a limit.

Lightnings are 4R100's, third gear is 1:1. But nice, you'd be definitely into the 400s in 5th with better load.

How much boost?
430 hp n 560 torque
power to run the blower could be 50hp as that's 80lbft? so there is 650lbft going on in the engine... have to look up the minimum tensile range for the metal used in the engines for that year then calculate the connecting rod surface aria at the thinnest spot against the tensile elasticity yield to get pounds divided by the crank throw for pound feet. if it was a 90'000psi tensile cast it would be boarder line going to slowly brake down at 500lbft wheel even more so if it overheats and the parts loose there temper treating. "car plow snow plow, 230hp had 460lbft of engine deceleration torque... braking vs accelerating torque on a 4.6 NA is 460B-lbft and 280A-lbft." the flywheel could be getting f'd up quick because that's a 1000lbft shock in the gear shifts if the clutch holds.

If all the sbf you ride in only rev to 5k no wonder you aint impressed. A nice turbo dart 363 with a healthy heads cam intake setup revving to 7500 would totally change your outlook on sbfs lol

Stock 2v?
@devinsage8414 it's a lightning 5.4 2v. They have a forged crank but the rods are the weakest link. A stock lightning only does like 330 or so wheel max of course that is through an auto. If it was pullied down more with more supporting mods it might do better too.
