Blair, take your saddle bag to a shoe repair shop! They can work on leather bags too! They may be able to clean it up and repair the strap! It will look brand new after they are done.
as someone who buys designer bags, i love this video!! i always look for pieces that seem reasonable, but you sold me w/ the lash glue, credit card, tampon comment! i tried to love dior, but i literally couldn't....same w/ bottega!! they just make me look weird and old. I'm not a Louis girl, but i LOVE the purple WOC!! I don't think I could pull of purple, but it seems so useful!

Send your dior saddle bag to leather surgeons or santanas and have your bag spa’d to help with cleaning it, helping with the tarnished hardware if possible and cleaning off the sticker properly
Plus you can have another video series for designer bags. For sending it to them and going through this and how ur experience was and if you feel it will help you get a second life out of ur bag etc
I totally agree, I think different looking bags or colourful bags are generally way more fun than a nude bag… I do love a good black bag though but it’s still has to have something cool about it 💁♀️
I must say though, I’ve never made a purchase of like $1000 or anything for a bag so that would be pretty awesome!

Oh! I love that pink beaded bag. Super cute. I think handbags are a great investment, even my hubby thinks so, too. I have one designer bag that I use regularly because it's easily replaceable lol. The others are just nice to have and look at. Lol. I LOVE the Real Real. That's where I've gotten most of my designer bags as well.

If the tarnished chain in made of brass (i assume it probably is) you should be able to get brass cleaner from Amazon or whatever that would remove the tarnish, but do not get the cleaner on the bag if you try, it's not fabric or leather friendly

The color problem with the Fendi bag is not with the bag itself - it’s because of the contrast with your tan + hair. Definitely let it go and get something else that will work better with the colors you have 😊.

I literally went to "ross dress for less"(i always say the full name lol) and my husband told me i didnt need a 20 dollar bag and....i didnt buy a shoulder bag that i wanted to feel like blair, cuz my hubs said i dont need more bags. Now i feel poor in so many ways watching this. But love the bags!! I will look for similar ones in my ross next time and i will not take a no for an answer :)

I don't know that you are talking about? I tried to find mini Lady Dior in great condition on Fashiophile and they cost maybe a couple of hundreds $$$ less than the new ones. The same story with a black leather Saddle bag. Only vintage and those that are in poor condition can be a savings.

I mainly watch luxe YTbers, so it’s cool to see you talking about it! One thing about the Lady Dior, which you allude to later with the Balenciaga Hourglass bag, is that the resale value is so poor because Dior always has them stocked in store and not enough people want them. I honestly hate how they look 😂. This is why you have the opposite problem with Hermes (and now Chanel) with the way they limit the amount of certain bags they sell, which also spikes up desire/demand for them.
