Y’know the best part, to me, is that Diana doesn’t leave immediately after taking care of the threat. She stays and comforts the people who were being held hostage. “Are you okay?” And “It’s over now. It’s all good.”
Especially how she comforts the little girl and encourages her to follow her dreams. That's just adorable.

To the folks that complain about Wonder Woman killing. She's literally a goddess of war. And before that, she has always been a born and bred warrior, as are all Amazons. She ain't gonna sing kumbaya with a bunch of terrorists threatening to kill dozens of innocents.

@@gary4934 She has the armor and accessories of a real goddess, and with Diana wearing it making her wonder woman, it does make her a goddess because she proved she’s worthy of it. She represents the god of truth because she makes her enemy tell the truth with the rope or to confess.
The little touch I love is 3:53 when she gets hit by one bullet and yells in pain. She’s super tough, but bullets still hurt which is why she blocks them with her bracelets. It’s just a tiny touch that makes the character feel like she’s practical rather than showing off.
She didn't really yell in pain.
She is bullet proof to an extreme manner.
She can only be pierced by bullets after a significant amount of being weakened.

2:09 There's something about the way Diana moves that just makes sense. Like, of course the animation looks kind of wacky, but we also don't know what it actually looks like for a human to move that quickly. Her running as well; It almost looks like she's teleporting. It reminds me of how Faora moved in Man Of Steel. I think Snyder has a really good view on how superhuman speed should look. Props to the VFX teams for making his vision possible.
I love how at the end she goes from 100% Justice to comforting the children. I love that they make her a sweet person who only shows her darker side when absolutely necessary.
The fighting style, the impact she has, just how fast she moves? So much better than the "other" entry...

Until the last bad guy where, instead of just moving fast and taking him out, she destroys the entire floor of the building and risks collapsing it onto everyone. Kind of weird.

I do enjoy the contrast of how ruthlessly efficient she was during this combat sequence and how casual and friendly she was when checking on the hostages. The superhero goddess visage dropped and she was just a sweet and kind woman concerned about everyone's safety.

I think she’s a perfect Wonder Woman. Athletic, intelligent and beautiful she conveys emotion well, has a smile that could melt the coldest heart and her laugh is contagious.

Something that I feel that the DCEU movies have always done better than the MCU is showcasing the real human perspective; there's always real weight given to things that would be written off as background noise in an MCU movie. Bullets feel threatening, collateral damage isn't glossed over, you can really feel just how much these heroes are beyond the common man, & because of all that, you can also tell how much these gods care about the people they're protecting.

My favorite part is the high speed movements. Really makes it extra clear how she is a super human being. That's what I noticed with Snyder and superheros. He portrays them as the superhuman beings that they are. He loves to dramatize them, make it really clear they are beyond humans. MCU tends to "humanize" its heroes, make them goofy, relatable. I mean I like that too but I also like Snyder's portrayal as well. Snyder provides a good contrast of hero portrayals to the MCU.
Yep he shows the heroes as if they're gods because they basically are. And I love how he included Batman/Bruce as the human whose trying to adapt to them and provide strategy and tech for the team while also holding his own.
Very well stated. We can enjoy both for being unique to themselves but unfortunately, the kiddies want everything to be like baby food and nothing different. Everything has to be watered down to the lowest common denominator.
Snyder's whole perpective on the DCEU was based off the game "Injustice" "Gods among us" storyline (eventual evil superman, Batman and Joker being a vital key to everything) add in Darkseid to broaden the DC Universe immensely with the hugely popular Jack Kirby "4th world" story arcs in the comics! Imagine seeing the "New Gods' "Forever People" "Mr. Miracle" and "Jimmy Olsen" crossing over through the Green Lantern core, Martian Manhunter, and the coming of "Brainiac" on the big screen!!! Add in the visual world of Apokolips and New Genesis!! Zack was about to blow the lid off DCEU and give the MCU a run for its money!!!!

Not only is her speed being shown in this scene but also her reflexes. She deflects those bullets like they were just s volleyball in a game.

Something about her comforting everyone and asking if they’re okay at the end made me emotional. After such a display of brute force, and then she immediately calms down to comfort the victims.

This scene is better than ANYTHING else that features Wonder Woman. The music especially you absolutely FEEL this is a Greek Goddess Warrior and her absolutely pummeling terrorists who don't deserve any mercy, I loved it. So glad we got to experience this at least once in life.

The special effect of her movement and power is SOOO convincing, it´s the best I´ve seen in a superhero movie by far, you really feel it´s the actress, she has weight and presence and reality, and her movements are so fucking cool. I love that she is clearly lethal and making a clear judgement; some lives we destroy, others we protect, affirming her own preferences.

Everyone already said their takes on the action and cinematography and Snyders use of slowmo and speed up, but I love what they showed after the terrorist take down where she goes to the hostages and calmly reassures them all that they are safe.

In the scene with the lasso and terrorist. He said “You're too late.”, I guess the guy who made that comment taught Wonder Woman was a myth.
Snyder’ s vision of the superheroes is in my opinion the correct vision. His version of The Justice League was by far superior to the first movie. I was so impressed when I watched it and had, and still do, hopes of seeing him expand his version of the League and do other DC movies.
Why did Bruce Wayne, one of the most secretive men on the Earth, reveal his deepest secrets to a fish guy he just met? How did they go from Arthur about to be kicking his ass to that?

@@vetarlittorf1807 WW84 is way worse than BVS. Atleast in BvS, Diana is a true warrior who fought Doomsday. What did WW84 do to diana? They made her get beaten by wind, also let not forget that controversial part of the movie where she slept with steve which body didn’t belong to him anyway.
They way her arms move to quickly block the bullets with her armguards even directly in her face is so cool! You can see her hand move really fucking fast to deflect bullets in almost every scene they shoot at her. Had to slow down 2:07 to 2:17 to really see it.
I love how Fast she is ,she isnt really known for her speed like superman and flash but makes sense she fast enough to block bullets

When I was watching Snyder's version, I forgot this scene existed in the Joss version. Watching Wonder Woman shine in her introduction scene left me on the edge of my seat as I wanted to see what would happen next. It honestly felt like I was watching this scene for the first time.

I absolutely love how she's not like other "it's over, your safe." she's checking up on everyone with a smile and loose movements. She was in battle mode now she's in comfort mode.
She doesn't check on the people outside who were just showered with bricks.
@@ddegn Yeah, the one glaring flaw in the scene is that she didn't just use her super speed to disarm & disable the head of the terrorists and instead released all the energy in her bracelets and blew out the wall. That seemed like a gratuitous add for the sake of having an explosive finish to the fight for the movie.

The only thing I didn’t like about this movie was that chant that played everytime Wonder Woman was on screen. She could’ve been stirring cream into her morning coffee and there it was. Other than that, this film was absolutely fantastic.

Imagine if this was a Martian Manhunter intro/enter scene. My idea is what if it was White Martians instead of Terrorist creating Chaos and the police didn't know how to handle them, but at the last minute, Martian Manhunter shows up with the same Energy as Diana did here, and used the full extent of his Unique powers to take them down. So Phasing, Shapeshifting, Telepathy, Strength, and Martian Heat Vision, and afterward just before the police arrive, he shapeshifts into one of the hostages.

She was portrayed much better in the first Wonder woman movie and became meh in this movie with the horrible slow motions, he meaningless interrogation means, the terrible song that plays when she's around, the stupidity of her bursting brains in front of kids and blowing up a building to murder a man she could easily take out and the plot hole of how if she was faster than machine gun bullets and took out Ares, she should have easily been able to defeat Steppenwolf on her own since Ares took out Darkseid with one strike and Steppenwolf is slower than even horses.
Yes, the first Justice League was bad. But stop treating Snyder as some amazing movie director with no flaws because of it. He's not 😂😂😂😂. He's the man responsible for Martha.
