- New York City TV reporter Katherine Creag is being remembered as a bright light in morning television news by colleagues, friends and viewers. The 47-year-old worked at the NBC New York station for a decade and suddenly died Wednesday. She had been working that morning. A colleague on NBC’s “Today Show” said "her joy and warmth made all of us feel special every single day." A native of Manila, Creag was married for 14 years and leaves behind three young children. I wouldn't say so young.. after like 35, especially if you don't regularly care for your body, things can downhill from there! So lesson is, try not to stress or get traumatized (too much haha), get an adequate amount of sleep, eat right, exercise, keep your mind sharp and you'll be ok!

My youngest daughter in her obituary says passed away suddenly, unexpectedly, March 25th, 2020 but not for her , she planned to take her life 3 months before. For us n her 3 older siblings and her husband suicide is was shocking, unbelievable and literally heartbreaking. She was 32. Thankfully no children left behind.

The silver lining is the job she had left her kids with hours upon hours of footage they can go back and watch their mother and hear her voice and see her smile when they’re missing her. It’ll never replace her but they will be able to see more of her than most of us have footage of our loved ones. This should remind us all to take pictures and videos as much as we can because it’s all we will have to be remembered by.
I REMEMBER SEEING HER EVERY MORNING ON THE NEWS WHILE GETTING READY FOR SCHOOL!!! May she rest in piece.

I remember meeting her and getting her autograph. About 7 years ago, I was in summer camp and she was across the street reporting a car crash in the Bronx. She was so sweet and kind to my friends and I. May she rest in peace.

Believe it or not, this is actually the second time that this has happened to a network news reporter in New York City. A few years ago, an ABC7 reporter who was around the same age, died suddenly and unexpectedly from a brain aneurism while on the job. I think it happened while she was riding back to the station in her news van. I can't believe it happened again. :-(
