    Amazon recently passed a $1 trillion market cap, but what makes it different from its competitors? In part, it’s data.

      Getting information when you can't directly access it is like trying to figure out a secret recipe without knowing all the ingredients. Imagine being able to peek into the chef's pantry and see what's missing after they've cooked a meal. By observing this, you can piece together the recipe's unique flavor. Similarly, if you can control the information surrounding the inaccessible data, you can indirectly obtain the desired knowledge, giving you the power to access that information, it only would take a single mischievous, bored target employee with access to that data to whip up recipes so potent it would even make you pregnant😆

    Very informative video and great graphics. As for Amazon being worth $1 trillion, I think it is priced very high for it's actual earnings. People are buying more for the growth story than the actual fundamentals. During the internet bubble there was another blue chip growth story stock that was supposed to reach $1 trillion dollars soon. Then the bubble popped and 18 years later this company is still down 60% from where it was when everyone loved it. If Amazon's growth slows the people who buy Amazon for the momentum and the hope of high growth will abandon the stock and it will trade back to a normal P/E. When that happens, it could drop 70% or more. When the internet bubble popped in 2000, Amazon dropped 93% from it's high in just one year. History doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes.

    Key Points:-
    1) Amazon always thinks minimum 3/5/10 years ahead.
    2) Focus on customers and not Competition.
    3) Remarkable efficiency.
    Amazon's Data Advantage:-
    1) 49% of Online Sales-> Amazon
    But Online is 1/10th of Retail Sales (where Walmart excels).
    2) Amazon competes with its own sellers also by introducing cheaper versions of the popular products by analysing data.
    3) Their Plan: Sell money>Increase Sale->Lesser Prices->Sell more.
    They get into every sector like Groceries, Personal electronics, etc.

    Talking about Amazon, here is a short business tip:
    Speaking as an international viewer (EU), you might want to consider signing up to the Amazon affiliate program, registering for every single country and posting the international affiliate-link below your videos. When users click on the link, they are redirected to the Amazon version of their own country, earning you commissions under their countries respective Amazon affiliate program.

    I currently work at walmart & this is right on the money. Firstly, it has to be said that the Walmart predictive ordering is *really* not optimized, & the bot orders are way off much more often than Walmart would like.
    Secondly, Walmart is trapped in a hellish transition period right now. It knows that it doesn't collect nearly enough data & that its handling of the data it does collect isn't nearly sufficient. They're trying despirately to transition the store into a frictionless, pick-up on demand type system with their ideal scenario being no customers shopping in store & completely automated stocking/handling of freight. But they aren't anywhere close to that goal, & the chain is absolutely straining under its own weight in trying to make the shift.
    Amazon is *much* better positioned for the future.

      Hi! kami sebenernya ga mau promosi kaya gini jg bro 😁
      Cuma tanpa promosi gini, sangat sedikit yang lihat ..
      Dlu kami sangat percaya bahwa "kualitas yang berbicara", namun seturut berjalannya waktu, kami liat kok kenyataanya engga juga ya .. Sbg sesama pengagum channel2 luar (spt kamu), kami cb2 liat history dari channel2 spt Polymatter - Mrk2 ini pun pada waktu awal2 juga melakukan hal spt kami, itulah yang menginspirasi kami untuk mengambil langkah yang kurang lebih "serupa" :)
      Channel bertemakan edukasi spt ini (tmsk channel yg kt tonton skrg) memproduksi dgn pengorbanan baik waktu, pikiran, biaya, dan sebagainya .. dan kalau ga banyak orang yang kenal, tentu ga banyak orang yang share .. alhasil penontonnya sedikit .. kalau itu yang terjadi secara terus menerus, hanya tinggal menunggu waktu aja sebelum channel tsb akhirnya gulung tikar.
      Channel luar dgn inisial "S", pada saat subsnya mencapai 100K pernah berkata = channel edukasi bukan "produk utama" dari industri ini, dan hanya bisa hidup apabila orang "tahu" dan "share" konten2nya.
      Kami hanya "sebatas berusaha" dalam mencapai itu bro 🤓
      Sebagai penggangum J.R.R. Tolkien, saya ingat beliau pernah menuliskan
      “Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps because I am afraid, and he gives me courage.”
      Kami percaya yang kami lakukan adalah "Small acts of kindness and love". Dengan memproduksi konten2 edukasi yang berkulitas secara "gratis", untuk semua orang yang "tahu" & "mau" menontonnya 😇

    • @buffer510
      @buffer510 Před 6 lety +1

      Hah oke. Saya tau PolyMatter karena recommended dari algoritma CZcams makanya saya kurang suka dengna cara spam seperti anda yang lakukan. Saya sendiri pun share ke teman saya dan kebanyakan mrk kurang suka karena kebanyakan teman saya kurang suka dengan topik yang spesifik dan juga melihat CZcams sebagai saran buat gaming. :\ (Untung ada Patreon jadi saya bisa support PolyMatter)
      Tapi saya juga setuju sih tentang produksi channel emang butuh waktu dan biaya dan juga edukasi bukan "produk utama" dari industri ini. Dari dulu pengen bikin channel bertemakan edukasi dalam Bahasa Indonesia tetap saya gak percaya diri karena Bahasa Indonesia saya tergolong jelek dan kosa saya terbatas jadi saya lebih nyaman dengan penggunaan Bahasa Inggris. Tetapi, dari pengalaman saya, sepertinya konten berbahasa lain terutama Bahasa Indonesia agak kurang didukung oleh "CZcams" karena saya sendiri pun jarang liat konten Bahasa Indonesia kecuali pas saya nonton berita Indonesia dari Kompas.
      Saya gak bisa komentar banyak sih berhubung argumen yang anda bilang itu bagus dan juga saya gak nyangka dapat balasan sepanjang ini. Saya sendiri belum liat konten video anda sepenuhnya walaupun saya udah taruh di "Watch Later" karena saya belum terbiasa untuk melihat konten dalam Bahasa Indonesia tetapi saya senang bahwa ada channel edukasi dalam Bahasa Indonesia.
      Jadi untuk penutup, saya setuju dengan anda dan saya juga percaya "Small acts of kindness and love" karena saya sendiri suka mengajar bhs inggris ke teman online saya. Kalau saya liat konten anda bagus, saya bakal komentar kok cuma bukan untuk sekarang :D

    Amazon is getting worse in my opinion. Every other package I order either takes longer than 2 business days to deliver or they lose the item altogether. Their pre-order system is garbage. I pre-ordered an item day 1 which was 6 months before it was to be released. On the release day, I get an email saying the item is out of stock and they will update me on a delivery date when more is in stock. Well, long story short, I never got it because it was a limited edition item. Amazon is terrible at pre-orders, do not pre-order anything with them if you really want it when it comes out.

      Not scary in Belgium,
      Amazon is pretty pathotic here :-),
      To have deliverry free option, you need to go to amazon france, ignoring that over 60% of belgian speak dutch..
      for dutch books and ebook you need to go to amazon germany, witch charges big to deliver in Belgium.
      An amazon Netherlands doesn't exist, witch gave AH the option of launching is't own website Bol.com with is the online leader in the northern half of Belgium and the Netherlands.
      So competiting guaranteed here, cause of the long time amazon took to have any real delivery here :-).
      Amazon is slowly increasing, but locally bol.com is very well known now, so most will look at bol.com website too before considering to press buy on Amazon product..

And who will that be if amazon manages to outcompete everybody in one of it's or all of it's respective fields and then subsequently those companies go down. Even if the providers for amazon eventually decide to stop providing and selling directly, who stops amazon from merging with said companies or to make their own? Who says that they even exist in the first place?
