Your dad was right, back then the f a cup meant something. Cup final day was nearly as good as Christmas day for kids and adults were buzzing too. Its a shame the magic is lost.
love the away day videos George, i hope the emergency wasnt anything serious. i used to go all over the country watching the boys, getting a bit old for it now, but like to see the younger generation keep up the traditions of our great club. i was there in 91 with your dad and even go back to to 81,82 fa cup finals and milk cup defeat to liverpool

I was at 81 and 82 replays 🏆, plus 87 loss (😞), 82 league cup loss (😞), 84 uefa cup (2nd leg) 🏆,91 final 🏆 and of course the various league cups. 🏆😞🏆etc

Greetings from another Nottingham Uni graduate! (MA '94.) I was just back in Nottingham in July, visiting from Dallas. The university has changed quite a bit. Glad to see that the old Bell Inn is still there, and as great as ever. (Of course I went by the Forest Megastore and bought a home jersey and other kit.)

@@mikeachillea Yeah I've seen that video. It's still a lot cheaper than in America. Cost me $275.00 for an upper bowl ticket to watch my 49ers play. After flight, Hotel, Car Rental, Gas and food I'm looking at over $1,000 for the trip. As I said wish I lived in England.
To go to the super bowl it would cost between $4500- $30,000.
