At the end of the day we have no designated striker available, things aren’t going well, so why is there a debate on playing Parrot. We need a target man. So play him. COYS
Think the main argument is that long term, it can be worse to introduce a young player to the premier league amidst a challenging period; you usually want the young player to be integrated gradually without any huge pressures, but Troy Parrott would be told to be the main goal-getter in a side battling for top 4. He might flourish, but it's pretty risky imo
the problem now is that the f'king manager don't want to play him even for 45 mins...just look at match (Leipzig & Chelsea), Lucas is the one who keep running front to back...moving the ball forward but in the end, he lost possesion

Went to Notting Hill and saw the severe delays so went up to Edgware Road thinking I can go round to Liv St then I see it’s only to Baker Street. Then had to catch a jubilee line in delays and fully packed out to Stratford. Horrible day for travel
Really think Lamela should be starting for us now that he's fit, he's one of our most creative player and seems to galvanise the rest of the team. He fights for every second of the game, fucking love the guy

Of course having no senior strikers is a massive blow but you have to look at how Mourinho is setting up the team. A low block playing with a 4 4 2 system screams of conceding possession and just looking to break, Lampard knew he could outnumber us in midfield, and they outpressed us because they were the ones with a high block and an extra man in midfield. Jose is going with 4 4 2 because he knows either Bergwijn or Lucas can't play the lone front man role, this is where he can put Parrott in, a natural striker who will take up natural striker postions, i bet the likes of Bergwijn and Lucas will be relieved they have a natural striker to play off.
