I’ve heard vegan supposed to be healthy so how healthy are these recipes as far as weight loss and having good health functions with the body. Because it looks like good soul food that will put weight on you.
Foods that are genetically modified or not, and contain sodium, sugar, dyes, and a host of other toxic chemicals but don't contain dairy or any meat are vegan and unhealthy. It's assumed vegan means healthy yet learning that it simply means a food that does not contain any meat or dairy corrects that assumption. These alternative dishes should not be eaten regularly either. Although the toxic load is certainly reduced within the body because they can be prepared with quality ingredients that are not heavily processed, and have less exposure to high heat it's still a fried food with sodium therefore it has calories. I would choose to use mushrooms to make mock fried chicken. I avoid eating non-fermented soy-based food. However, this recipe using the tofu skins certainly produces a better-looking and crispier version of fried chicken and it looks delicious.

You may can try to make your skins with another bean like chickpeas. I’m sure it can be done but longer process.
