I love this idea for a book haul.
This was lovely! I really liked seeing what you thought of things and how you evaluated what you would read vs. buy vs. find cheaper somewhere else! It appealed to my little book buying brain! 😅
Oooooh that hardback of We Were Liars, tho. Random but awesome!
Normally the answer is always 'find it cheaper somewhere else' haha! But we had one of those stamp card things where if you get 10 stamps you get £10 off, and we've been collecting stamps on this one card for the last two and a half years and finally completed it XD

Great haul!! I read Dragonfly In Amber and Voyager back when I was 16/17. They're long but soooo good!!! I'd be interested to know the other books you're covering in your romantic books class. Also that Waterstones at the beginning looks an awful lot like the one at Cribbs Causeway!! I was there today. I picked up Spell Book For The Lost And Found but I didn't buy it, even though it sounded good. That cover for Love And Gelato is really pretty too! I love The Lizzie McGuire Movie and I've wanted to get the book for a while.

Thank you, Morgan! When we were younger we would annoy our parents to no end spending AGES trying to pick a book! Now, we only really go book shopping if we have something in mind we want to get, but I can't help getting distracted by the books on offer 😂 Amazon's Used-and-New marketplace though, I could make a ridiculously large basket without even realising - that's where I have no willpower! - Bee x

this is such a fun way to do a book haul! your supermarkets have such large YA sections as well, all the ones i've been to are tiny (i also get frustrated when a new book isn't on the buy one get one half price table :'))
Yeah, we're pretty lucky with that, the only problem is they don't seem to rotate the stock very often, so it's the same books for half the year! haha!
We found Truth or Dare on a half price table at the second Waterstones, but by then we'd already given in (shakes fist) why can't there be some sort of consistency?? - Bee x
Ah no that's annoying! omg that totally happened to me a while back with some books, i gave in and bought them full price and then found them in another waterstones on offer :( so annoying!! x

All Our Yesterdays is quite a cool time travel story that surely does have its logical flaws but over all the book is really entertaining and enjoyable :)

You're so lucky Waterstones puts YA books on sale. Barnes & Noble here in the US rarely - if ever - puts YA on sale.
I have no idea why but I found a copy of Phantom Limbs in a charity shop in February - and it wasn't an ARC or anything! But when I looked it up it didn't come out till June! I think someone living near me must work in the publishing industry cause I also found loads of ARCS that day too 😂😂
