I am not a basketball fan, so I am not sure what to read into the "Reflect on who was the number one pick in the 1999 professional basketball draft" question - he is Elton Brand, but is there a deeper meaning?

It was also Chamique Holdsclaw. When asked the question, 100% of respondents have offered the name of a male basketball player. THAT is how the cycle of oppression operates. THX for asking.
