Wow, both cleans and screams sound identical to the studio! This has been one of the best bands I’ve discovered in a while!
Although this is true, it sounds like theyare playing in a half step down (lower key) to accommodate their voices.
@@aaronford1752 oh really? I didn’t even notice haha, no wonder it sounds so good. You rarely find vocals this accurate to the studio, so it makes sense then. Just relistened to it now and it’s really noticeable at 1:30 lol, definitely sounds like a little slower than the album. Sounds a slight bit off now that you mentioned it, but I still like it. Thanks for pointing that out!
@@andrewscocozza4340 yezzir. This band does perform very well live. But as a fellow vocalist, our voices are ever changing. So a lot of times, a band starts very young. Our voices naturally get deeper as we get older... after doing those high pitch belts over and over, you voice will start to get tired...hormones, smoking, drinking, excessive use of your voice, etc. will do it as well
There's also a lot of compression and some pitch correction added to the studio vox to add effect and smooth rough edges. These guys perform very well for the difficulty of their music.
@@aaronford1752 makes a lot of sense actually. Voices can’t stay in pristine condition forever, so you have to accommodate sometimes. I’m not a musician at all, so I would have never guessed lol. I just play guitar very casually, I wouldn’t try to attempt vocals haha. I know I’d shred my vocal chords

Song is great, and their sound is great. I wish they had a little more emotion though. Especially the drummer, he rocks the drums, but seems a lil dead inside hahah. Nevertheless, I love it.

I found them via nihilist blues cover which was decent and then liked few other songs, but latest music and in final opinion they are average with lyrics so plain without depth, at least their last screamer looked funny like mix of moose and giraffe in glasses. So in the end Ann is really not okay xD
