first that door is like at least 10mm thick Judging by fire rate gun fired to the door was a m4 which uses m855 5.56 round which can pen up to 3mm of armor at 600meters and its pen at close ranges are quite poor but it still would be around 5mm so if that door is 10mm and round can pen 5mm of armor at that range, here you go thats why door stopped bullets. many things can be confusing at first but its simple. by the way that looks like a bullet proof door i dont know why they have bullet proof door there but ok.
