Pound for pound the Mitsubishi Expander is the best choice among all Subcompact MPV in the market. Toyota Avanza and Veloz are the same product of Daihatsu in Indonesia which have very Low rent Cheap plastic around the interior.
Precisely. Same with rush. Its cabin noise is so irritating to hear. The plastics are like loosing its tightness.

veloz design mas elegante tingnan at di nakakasawa. simple lang. tapos mas angat talaga features. cruise control lang talaga gusto ko sa xpander eh..
On the outside look.. yung veloz para lng din avanza.. maliit tingnan..dun na lng ako sa rush..
Veloz has a lot of extras but lacks the necessities such as the higher ground clearance and standard cruise control. So much convenience features but won't be giving that much convenience to the driver once you go out for a long drive and when you suddenly encounter even mildly unpaved roads.
Almost, but definitely didn't completely steal the show. The Xpander turns out to be somehow still prepared to shine in its segment.

@@thecyclisttv3149 never said it wasn't but as said in another comments box of a Veloz vid, it's one of the few features that actually makes sense in this vehicle apart from the 6 airbag system.
The rest are far than needed(ambient lighting, wireless charger, etc) and then you'll now be greeted by the somewhat deal-breaking disadvantages. That will depend to the buyer ofc but these facts stated above plus the not-full flat folding 2nd row seats, can be a deal breaker to some, or most.
Some rivals may be priced similar, close or higher than the Veloz, but offers huge discounts that can actually reduce the price a lot and still make it a very sensible choice. That's another thing people will consider, given Toyota isn't really the brand that is fond of huge discounts.
@@MiggyMndza I know that Toyota veloz ²nd row seat won't fold flat just like other cars but the reason for that is because it has a feature that Called sofa mode.
And also is not that brand to offer big discount because there Cars are Worth it although some people may disagree my Opinion at WORTH IT PRICE I can say it worth it because Toyota Toyota is A car brand with reliable and Durable cars so You may expect a longer time to break the parts some Car brands is selling Cheap cars But not that Reliable Toyota is A Little bit Overpriced but I will not Cost you Millions to fix the problems of the cars and that's why I Call it

Even our Toyota Corolla with 365k kilometers is still running Smoothly. Compare to other Car brand the other is using Cheap plastic and poorly Built Engine. And That's why I am not going To Change Car Brand Always Toyota. Though overpriced but you won't regret it.

MPV means multi purpose vehicles. As long long as it gives more functionalities on your family needs it is MPV. SUV is normally 5 seater and therefore they are both 7 seater that’s why regardless how they look like they are considered MPV.

Ive seen Toyota Veloz with 7 persons including driver that stop and stuck uphill, all 6 passengers have to go out from the vehicle and that was the time it run uphill.
But i haven't seen yet a video of Mitsubishi Xpander with 7 persons stop and go uphill. That remains to be seen.

Delikado rin ang Veloz sa paahon tas kargado ng 7 passengers, may tendency na umatras dahil kulang ang engine power para umahon. Kawawa mga nasa likuran if ever may kasalubong. Auto-pass agad sa sasakyang kinakailangan agad magtulak sa ganung situation.

veloz do not have adaptive control. Xpander have. many feature on veloz that on Xpander doesn't have.. such as Savety sense system, telescopic steer, wireless charging, 360 camera, etc...

AT is better if you want to keep the car for long term. CVT is more fuel efficient and more comfortable for driving. For 7 seater i would prefer AT than CVT.
The main reason my family is chose xpander because of the height. The new veloz and avanza are lower compare before but overall for me I'll take veloz

Veloz is surely a winner here. Xpander looks outdated and the only things good with it is the ground clearance and cruise control. Safety and features are way better on Veloz.

How many airbags is the expander?
2 Airbags only in driver and front passenger. That's the only downside of Xpander, they compromised the safety features.
Veloz all the way. Will only consider Mitsubishin again if they will improve their airconditioning. Mitsubishi's Dynamic Shield design has kinda lost its luster over the years as well as it is nakaka-'umay'.
Daihatsu Xenia vs Mitsu Xpander to eh hahaha kung sino mas malaki discount dun tayo except if money is not an issue for you

Ano mas maganda sa 3 for you sir and mas worth it for my first car? Ung unang labas ng Ford Territory gandang ganda ako kasi ang ganda ng features kaso later on may mga issues na lumalabas and the fact na Chinese rebadged siya, then i consider looking xpander okay din, sporty look ang dating parang pinaliit na montero, nong nakita ko itong veloz nagulat ako sa 360 degree camera nya and ambient lightning nya.

@@laasuncion549 iba iba po.. although isolated lang naman… sa totoo lang po, di ko tlga bet ang toyota kasi di maganda suspension pero sa price ng Toyota Veloz competitive na xa for a 7 seater.. pwede na pang pamilya.. dati 2nd option ko xpander pero nong nakita ko ung Veloz mas na impress ako kaya kung kapalaran baka ito na lang kunin ko. Mas mura pa kesa sa territory and xpander, tsaka for me sporty look din xa.. Ung mga friend ko na driver mas maganda low maintenance daw Toyota. Cvt is good for small cars not for 7 seaters. Also, it is expensive to repair.

@@iamonching0718 Yes you're right but CVT is lighter and fuel-efficient. My problem with CVT is more on the feels and driving experience. For this segment though, I don't really need them. If I want to enjoy driving I already have a manual trans vehicle.

Cruise Control?Yes Veloz has it level of fancyness but features mentioned earlier should be included which xpander provides. I would choose AT vs. CVT if I want to keep car in long term.

Lancer user here, natanong ko n dati yan sa casa nung pinacheck ko car ko, kung bkt discontinued n abg lancer eh durable nmn xa, ang sabi skn, un daw ang dahila, maxado durable lalo n ung engine, wala daw cla maxado sales when it comes to maintenance and repair

As long as it can bring you from point A to point B and can carry 7 people, run at least hundred Kph, capable of climbing Baguio! I don't think these cars are underpower the right term is adequate! Both cars are engineered to work their jobs. Hindi naman kasi lahat ng tao maka afford ng 1.5+ million na SUV kaya ginawa ang ganyang mga uri ng sasakyan

The harder an engine has to work, the faster it will wear out..that's the problem with weak engines, they have to work harder
@@slee2695 yes it would struggle but you only go to Baguio ones not everyday day so the engine won't struggle everyday. So tell me the best for you a 7 seater vehicle at 1M to 1.1M, innova J MT? It's almost 1.2M just a vehicle with engine and it's nothing no looks and features, Okavango is good but the base starts at 1.3M
@@kobegarzon2577 good analogy! Its true 1.5 engine is enough for long hauls, uphill even 7 seats are completely filled plus baggage and stuff. Honestly it can tackle roads confidently. Words are "enough". Thats it! Its a driver skills on how will manage and get much power out of it 🙂

@@SoJooCars 아 그렇구나 반갑네요 저는 세부에서 8년재 거주하고 있구요 세 아들의 아빠 랍니다. 필에서 한국분이 유트브 현지인을 상대로 하고 있는게 참 멋지네요. 한 가지 개인적으로 문의 드립니다. 제가 중고차를 처음 사서 쓰다가 애도 하나 더 생기고 차가 점점 말썽을 부려서 새차를 구매하려고 알아보던차에 님의 영상을 우연히보게 되어서 계속 영상을 보았습니다. 한국차를 사고 싶은데 너무 비싸서 엄두가 안나더라구요, 그래서 생각한게 도요타 아반자 벨로즈 그리고 스즈키 xl7 그리고 미즈비시 xpender 요렇게 압축을 하고 비교하다가 중국산 상하이자동차에서 만든 맥서스 g50도 보게 되었구요 맥서스로 하려다가 막판에 도저히 중국차를 자신이 없어서 다시 바꾸어서 오늘 오전에 xpender 를 계약을 하고 다다음주 출고를 기다리고 있습니다. 그리고 한 가지 제가 몰랐던게 가격이 마닐라하고 여기 세부하고 대략 7만페소 차이가 나더라구요 이것도 이번에 처음 알았구요. ㅎㅎ 여튼 뭐 xpender gls 모델을 계약을 하고 왔는데 잘한 선택일까요? 비슷한 가격대에서는 제일 나은거 같아서 선택을 했는데 지금도 모르겠네요. ㅠㅠ 뭐 이미 선택을 해서 돌아올수 없는 강을 건너기는 했지만 전문가로서 차량에 대해서 솔직한 평을 부탁드려 봅니다. 아참 구독을 아직 안했더라구요 구독 누르고 갑니다. 반가워요 자주 영상 볼께요 미리 감사합니다. 정말 저는 이런데서 구독하고 그러지 않는데요 처음으로 구독 눌러봅니다. 좋은 밤되세요 혹시 답변 주시면 넘넘 감사하구요

I disagree that veloz wins in the performance level. I watched indonesian reviews, hindi man lang makaakyat ang veloz uphill with 7 passengers on board. In the end, it all depends on the buyers need. Mostly uphill and rugged roads ang pinupuntahan ko so I chose the Xpander kahit na mag gusto ko ang ibang features ni veloz. hehe

Engine- xpander (more torque)
Transmission- xpander (cvt for 7 seater is a no for me) cvt expensive to repair. Traditional is better in the long run
Airconditioning- xpander (mode also warm n cold) hot air is useful to remove moisture in the windshield
Maintenance- Same
