    I think that driver's test was the same one a lot of people in my city took to get their license, and it shows.

    A time when families watched TV together. Back then the writer's of these show's seemed a bit more creative than today. Great cast.

      The creators of Leave it to Beaver and the Munsters are one in the same. I think the writers are much better on the Munsters ☠️

    Herman should have been glad the old man made it so easy to get his drivers license and not asked any questions. Always loved this show, glad I watched it new.

    This show is a classic, and so hilarious. Herman was a gentle soul. It was always funny when grandpa and Herman bickered. The old man in this ep reminds me of Tim Conway when he played the shuffling old geezer.

      Charles Ruggles was also the narrator of the Aesop's Fables segment of The Bullwinkle Show. He also played the character Charles McKendrick, the grandfather of Hailey Mills’ characters, in the movie The Parent Trap.

      I Love The Munsters, i love Yvonne De Carlo, even as Lily she was beautiful, i have a beautiful Model of the Munsters Koach and a book about The Munsters that Yvonne and Butch Patrick did,& I'm 65 i have a DVD set of the Munsters

    That DMV character was just way too funny. I was losing it laughing at him. Herman was hilarious as ever as well, I might add. Been a fan of the Munsters ever since their first run when I was a kid back in the 60s. They were always a top favorite program of mine and I am so glad I found your channel so I can enjoy it once again. Thanks for the great uploads, my friend. 😎👍

      Gateman, not Gates. And they had a motorized hearse as well. If I recall correctly, it was a 1938 Packard V12.

    Its hard for me to believe that anyone could fail the physical part of a driving test. The little crapbox vehicles nowdays!!! Back in the 70's I took my test in a land yacht, a 1972 Lincoln continental!!! You really had to know what You were doing to maneuver that SHIP!!

    The older actor who played the Justice of the Peace, the fireman etc., had a very long movie career. I can't remember his name. But he was in Fun with Baby, a baby tiger, (I am sure the title is not correct) with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn in the 1930s. He was a great character actor and quite funny in the parts that he played sometimes.

    The background to the Story is than hernan's licence has expired and a in d after driving though the obstacle course he passed and got his license.
    He was so excited that he backed into the examiners car while leaving the rest area and his license was taken away. Grandpa the as the idea to go to a not-so&)-strict town and found Groverville❤
