- In the heart of Beverly Hills, Julien's Auctions will host an auction of Legendary proportions. A sale of just under two hundred items that spans rock n roll history with property from the life and careers of musicians Bo Diddley, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Fogerty, Madonna, Prince, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and many others.
Highlights include: Prince's Purple Rain sunglasses, jackets given by Prince to a girlfriend, Tom and John Fogerty's childhood recording equipment, a letter Madonna wrote to David Letterman, The Jimi Hendrix Experience poster inscribed by the band in 1969, a rare poster advertising a 1963 concert by The Beatles and Michael Jackson's personal MTV Moonman trophy.

Julien's Auctions is proud to partner with legendary guitarist and musician Slash to offer items from Slash's personal collection at auction. For the first time ever Slash has authorized the sale of guitars, clothing, jewelry, furniture and décor from his home and other personal items.
Highlights from this sale include two versions of Slash's Gibson signature guitars, stage and event worn T-shirts, Slash's diamond encrusted guitar pendent, a pair of monumental red suede conversion sofas from Slash's home, Slash's Harley, 1966 corvette, and other eclectic items from Slash's travels around the world. From Guns N' Roses early days, through the formation of Velvet Revolver to Slash's solo career - every period of Slash's career is represented in over 300 items.
The items can be viewed at Julien's Auctions showroom in Beverly Hills at 9665 Wilshire Boulevard from 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday starting Monday March 7th through Saturday, March 26th.
A portion of the proceeds from this sale will benefit one of Slash's favorite charities, Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN). LAYN works to empower abused, neglected and homeless adolescents to become self-sufficient. More information about this organization can be found at www.layn.org.

Hello Julien's Auctions and thank you for posting this video. If I can share with everyone a story for those by chance who did not make this auction. Let me tell you it was quite the event. A very fun and interesting learning experience. Someone told me about this auction and immediately looked into it and said "I am NOT missing this one."
Unfortunately, money was really tight at the time or I would have bid God-like fortunes of money to acquire four of the guitars in particular. Made it down there and was overwhelmed within seconds of walking through the door. The number of his personal items on display going to be up for auction took a couple of hours to absorb. Sat through the auction and was mentally drained walking out of there. You don't see it in this video, but his collection completely filled the entire floor of that building you see there. Every room going back well out of range of the camera was used and filled to display his stuff. It was daunting to process yet such much fun to learn about and guess what the bidders were going to do when starting the auction.
The red Slash painting in the back was given to Slash by a fan just a couple years ago if I'm not mistaken. It's sucks a little for the fan who made it that Slash sold it...

People have to realize when slash and eric clapton and others sell their guitars that they are given so many over the years that they can't possibly even use them all.
Last thing he decided to go on auction was the car, first the Michael Jackson statuette.
The BC Rich guitars are nice, but I like that cream colored ESP/LTD Tele

1:21 Pretty much sums it up for me. Those items only remind you of the meaning they originally had, which conflicts with how they're exposed / commercialised at a place like this.

omar damian there was only one classic sunburst Les paul. But there was still loads of Les pauls
The BC Rich Mockingbird guitars and the studded top hat are my favorites in this collection.
The couch and the corvette would off made me a happy camper...
Car is the last item 'think twice' Slash decided to sell? I'll probably think the guitars is my last one..And to be honest i'm in the process to sell my 1964 Strat..I was in a bad..bad..shape now..😭

Highly, highly doubt it. Haven't seen Izzy's but why would him get rid of it? And in the case he did, why would Slash sell it, having over 100 guitars?
Axel Dietrich Didn't belong to Izzy in the first place apparently. I always wonder why he used a modern type guitar for the SCOM video (with a floyd rose system!!) whem he has always favored classic types. it s the same guitar, compare it with the video clip.
