To be fair, these balls can be HUGE. I can see why she was impressed.
yh lol!
@@Veronica-iu9ty lol 🤣
I can't stop laughing when you found out that your mouse is a boy (because of his B A L L S).
what a small dog
Yes
I’m sorry but I hate these jokes it shows how humans try to relate any animal to a dog or cat. Which is not cool animals are their own thing not a version of a dog or cat.
@@Defnotjolie No one said that and people (when they use this joke) sometimes include other animals and this joke is not always about dogs and cats. And being sarcastic is healthy for you, you can hate sarcasm and that way you can be very unhealthy mentally lol
@@Defnotjolie i know im late but, do you know what a joke is? I get why youre (or were) upset, but c'mon. It was a joke, no need to have gotten butthurt about it
@@Defnotjolie thats not the joke though? the joke is calling literally any animal under the sun a dog. like going "thats a weird looking dog" to a bird or something. thats the joke.
Bahahaha omg "Those are balls!!" t-shirts when
Quarantined like the rest of us
"ARE THOES BALLS"?
Good thing you foud the ”hidden gems” before introducing him to your females😂
Man, I wanna live in a tea box now.
Yes!!! I've been waiting for you to get mice forever and as a mouse owner this makes me so happy. I love seeing A+ pet care for small animals because unfortunately they are the most some of the most commonly abused pets. Lots of love for this
Me: *doesn't have a mouse and does not plan on getting one any time soon*
Also me: *watches this entire video*
He’s super cute, lol loved when you discovered his gender 😂 sad you might have to find him a new place to live
she neutered and kept him. neutered males dont get along with other neutered males but will get along with females.
She neutered him.
The poor mouse is a trap
I'm actually pretty happy with the fact that you're going to be rehoming him. Always get worried about animal hoarding. Idk kind of stupid of me but it's like reassuring. Im also thrilled you're looking into how to care for your specific animals and aren't straight encouraging people to go out and buy pets just because,, love you, my guy
she actually neuters and keeps him so he is happy. She upgraded the tank too.
I have 6 cats. Some people just like animals.
He's so cute! A little sad that the other two mice can't have a new friend though.
You can neuter mice, not advisable because it’s expensive but it can be done
Omg I had one of those cages for both my hamsters that you mentioned and they always managed to escape from them. Thankfully I always found them in my house, but now I wish I had used a bin or tank like you!
*MICE ARE SO ADORABLE EEEEE*
oh my gosh, I checked up on your channel after years! I've been watching since the Lunchbox series you made and its so cool to see your content change and you as a person
don't mind me, i'm just freaking out over that Re:Zero shirt
I love how she yelled “ARE THOSE BALLS?!”
I was going to make a bin cage for my hamster, then a friend gave me a giant aquarium.
Aww your pet is so cute 💖💖🌹
looks great!
that rainbow bridge is so precious ⭐
you did such a good job for your first time making a bin cage! btw ima new sub!
That tank is pretty cool!
such a good idea!
2:23 you could always see if an ikea detolf would fit and it’s a great enclosure for small animals. A CZcamsr called Emiology has a ikea detolf for her mice.
Ive heard of that, i love Emiology's videos, but unfortunately we don't have IKEA in new zealand
This happened to me 2 weeks ago when I got my 5 breeder mice🤦🏽♀️. 1 asked for 4 females and 1 male. Ended up with 2 males. I thought about giving the extra male mouse away but he turned out to be a total sweetheart so I kept him.
omg soda! you were my childhood and im just checkin in you you XD. You were my favorite youtuber when i was like 9 and im 15 now and just randomly realized how much you meant to me. I sent you fan mail and wanted to be a youtuber just like you. anyways just checking in on you and your channel. glad to see you're still here i hope you're doing well :)
“ARE THOSE BALLS!?”
My parents while I’m walking downstairs after showing them the vid: HOLD UP....wait a minute..?
Ah I just found your channel and I love your videos, and thanks for the vid I’m thinking of switching my babes to a bin cage
That's one epic small mice
You should probably make the substrate deeper! They love tunnelling, mine have about 30-40 cm of bedding
this is the firs nz youtuber that i have seen im so happy because i have never seen/watched a nz youtuber because im from nz
Soda pets: I got this cute little *female* mouse
Also soda pets: are those *B A L L S?!!*
Woah nice wheel
I have found your channel once again👀
OMG THAT CAT TREAT SO CUTR
You can also use a coping saw.
Wait a second, I have not watched this channel in so long. I really don’t know why
So cute!!!!
OMG he is so cute and adorable aww 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
I love pokemon and your videos! :)
You should get an Ikea detolf if you want a bigger cage there's lots of tutorials on how to make the lid
Unfortunately we dont have IKEA in new zealand :(
@@sodapets :(
Soda Pets even without IKEA, I’ve found that converting shelves into cages is super popular. If you can find a second hand display case and cut ventilation in the sides it should work just fine.
Hey! I love mice 🥺
Mice💜
wait hi sorry! this is a little late im planning on getting mice but this is my first time! does that mean i have to isolate them serperatly, they are coming from the same place!
So cute 😍💜💜
First love your vids been watching since mlp stuff
were are u in nz cause my local pet shop sells alot of mice and mice products. Im in palmerston north tho haha
Im in Christchurch and pet stores here mainly just sell fish and sometimes birds
So like I got 2 mice and I’ve had them in a pretty small tank for a while but I have a bunch of bins is it ok for me to make a bin their permanent home for the rest of their life ?
I know kiln dried pine isn’t safe for hamsters, it removes the moisture but not all the toxins so I’m not sure about gerbils/mice tho. I have hamster but I’m looking into getting mice. I ice paper bedding though.
wait... ARE THOSE BALLS! XD
Hello! You don't know me, but when I was younger, I watched your mlp videos. When you were what...Club soda? Something like that. Buy I would watch them ALL night and I remembered You today. I just want to thank you for being amazing ✨💕 About to watch your videos I thats haven't seen in about...4-5 Years? 😆
Ik I’m kinda late but if possible maybe neuter is an option that way he can go with your female mice with out the worries of them breathing.
Breathing? They are suppose to breathe. You mean breeding right?
@@KermitAdventures😂
as someone who will never own a mouse because my dogs like eating every rodent in sight i find this tutorial extremely helpful
I miss my mouse, such cool little buddies
What a cute little mouse. Does it have a "roommate?"
Cute! I wish I can get a pet mouse
does your mouse feel shaky when you hold it
I don't have any pets I just looove your videos
i have a critter trail and they are the worst it was the only one we could afford and ive been begging my mum to get a new one and we just cant afford a new cage for pearl aka my mouse so im saving for a new cage for her bc i feel so bad for her. she is super happy living her life
ughhhhh SO CUTEEEEEE I KNOW HE ISNT A FEILD MOUSE BUT I WANT ONE SO BADLYYYYYYYY!!,
In america all our bedding is kiln dried im pretty positive - at least for the most part - so it's not too much of a worry
i know you may not see this but it’s my last hope and i’m really sad about it. i got 2 mice and the only bullies and bites the other one horribly and i tried to see if it’ll come down within a day and it got worse so i separated them, obviously mice are social. should i get another mouse for the one that was being beaten up and return the bully? i’m not really sure what to do this never happen to me.
I am making a bin cagw for my mice, but in the future I want to stack the bins on top of each other would they still have ventilation even if a box was on top of The Wire??
I would cut out some of the side and use hardware cloth for the mesh.
@@TheTinyHerd thank you!!
what water bottle do you use?
My question for using really strong tape: why wouldn't you just put the tap on the outside? Then the mouse cannot chew it👍
Probably cause it degrades over time so it's prob better to have tire wire
Mouse mouse adorable
I'm using dukt tape. That will teach them. I mean, they're wild mice and rip through the zip ties. Trust me. And they will stop eating dukt tape as long as you have a water bowl and a bottle dripper thingy for them to clean their mouth. It is fine.
These little vukkies can gnaw through metal! They have destroyed all my 'professional' expensive cages in just a few weeks. And I really mean really expensive cages.
How bored would you have to be to do a mlp role play for the OG's? 🤣
How many gallons was your container?
squeaky babey
Hi! So I recently found a mouse that isn't domesticated and was wondering if it would be okay to take it home and make it a house. I've always wanted a pet mouse and know how to feed it and take care of it but am worried it may get lonely or bored so I'm wondering if it would be okay
Assuming this is just a timid fancy mouse, it would be best to get them a partner mouse if they are female. Males are very territorial and will “mark their territory” a lot which will make the habitat very smelly. If a female, pair them with at least one other female so they can socialize and bond! Hope this helps! :)
You got me to want to make a youtube channel like in 2015
I didn't know who this was until her voice...
I've been watching yum soda since she made MLP videos 😅 looks like she's changed a lot since I last checked her out
I have two male mice, and they are brothers and they get a long surprisingly really well and don’t fight. One is still getting used to me tho
Plot twist!! He’s gay.. no but seriously this was the funniest video to watch at 3 am
She gets a new pet every week😂😂😂
Lol no i don't. This is the first pet I've gotten in 3 months
DAT BOI COMIN and good for her, who cares. You can see she’s taking excellent care of her pets, and I’m happy knowing that someone like her has lots of pets, as it ensures they’ll have a good quality of life as opposed to not
@@sodapets true true big fan btw
@@carous3lcos ya thats true
ayeeee NZ
How is that tool cutter called
She has balls
Idk if you have an IKEA in New Zealand, but there are a lot of DIY videos to make a cage out of their furniture (shelves, bookcases, etc.). It could save you some $$$ instead of having someone custom-make you one 😊
Ugh, an the next person he goes too will lie as well an say they dont have snakes 😭
7:30 😂😂😂
He is so cute 🥰😍
hi
Thanks for this video... i just rescued 2 baby feild mice that my dog caught (and tried to murder) i was going to try to get them healthy after their trauma (i wasnt sure if they'd survive, 1 looked really rough at first) and release them but they are literal babies, their eyes aren't even open yet, they are just barely opening their eyes a teeny bit for short periods of time and now that ive been able to keep them alive for the past 36 hours im getting a bit attached lol. I dont want to do all this work to raise them and then let them go and have something else eat them, so im tempted at this point to make them a nice habitat and give them the best life ever lol. (they are getting attached to me too i think.... they snuggle up in my hand when im feeding them and when i try to put them back in the temporary cage i have for them (just a little travel cage with some newspaer in the bottom and a cozy-happyhut that i took away from my pet birds for the mice to snuggle in for warmth) when i try to put them back they cling to my fingers and dont want to leave me lol. ive been feeding them warm cream with a bit of corn-meal dissolved in it and i use a syringe to slowly dribble it into the crook of my fingers while i hold the mice in my hands.... i hold them in my hand with their head pointing towards the crease of my finger and then thats where i dribble the milk and they lap it up from the crease of my fingers mostly. i dont know... i could rehab them and let them go but they seem like they are becoming really tame with me caring for them from babyhood...from research they seem maybe all of 10 or 11 days old tops so if they stay this tame they will probably stay so im going to need to fix them up a nicer setup. (they are fine for now b/c they are babies they cant really see and they mostly just eat and sleep and snuggle up in the hidey hut.)
Look at her.....💕💕💕
Didn't New Zealand pretty much not even have covid?
AAAWWWWEE
I had the same thing happen! I brought home 2 mice. (Earl Gray and Chamomile). I let them out of there cage and me and my siblings are chilling with them. Then my sibling goes Chamomile Has Balls! I'm like wtf no way. I check and behold she's a he. So now I have to separate them and I'm getting another female since I don't have the ability to get him fixed.
Can you use a fish tank as a cage? Genially asking.
Yes you can! It’s actually better to have an aquarium as a habitat as mice are escape artists. Although a minimum of *10 GALLONS* is required for two mice
@@bathwater3243 thanks so much!
@@bathwater3243 No! 10 gallons is insanely small for even one mouse, it's the same size as a critter trail! The minimum for a single male is a 20 gallon long (360 square inches) and the minimum for 2 to 3 females is a 30 gallon (450 square inches). I recommend a 40 gallon breeder tank for up to 6 mice. Bigger is better!
@@bathwater3243 thanks! I have a 10 gallon fish tank that has no water
@@kalenadams1918 sure sure😂
Omg I live in New Zealand Auckland 🇳🇿
I just adopted 3 homeless boys. They are smelly, it's true, but no one wants the poor boys so I took them.

I thought it was a diy to make a mouse bc of the thumbnail-
Hahahah
