Out of all the playable London characters, my favorite is definitely Rodney.
I like how he looks, the classic black suit and tie.

Its amazing how GTA V’s prologue took place before the entire events of GTA IV and I just wonder what Trevor and Micheal were doing while the events of IV were taking place.

Seeing Phil Collins is still alive and we are heading back to Vice City I hope that we get something like a radio advertisement or a talk show about his adventures in the 80's in Vice City and he could even bring up both Vance brothers and Tommy I kinda preferred the period piece GTA games like the 90's and 80's it can go full parody yet still be feeling like a plot line of a serious movie

It was a real shame to see Jonny from the Lost MC to be brutally killed my Trev in what... the first 10 mins for GTA V... He was a well developed character and all throughout Lost and Damned.

I kind of loved it. You don't even see protagonist in their sequels. So murdered or not, it was cool to see Johnny and get a haunting conclusion.
The problem is that the 2D games, 3D games, and HD games all take place in separate universes.
They are soft reboots. Events happened but everything is reset.(James Bond movies did it until Daniel Craig. Then a full reboot was done .) Since not much happens in 2D games it feels like its completely disconnected from 3d but in HD there are some connections to 3D games. Soft reboots are done so creators don't have to redo the whole world and lore but past events don't really matter and have no connection to current events. Mission impossible did it 2 times too. First , second and third movies are all soft reboots. That is why Ethan and his team are still connected to each other in the third movie and further but the past events don't matter.

Unless you just decide in your head "yes they do." Theres no in game evidence one way or another. All rockstar has done separating their universes is siphon layers of depth off of both of them. Watching this to recall everything before GTA VI, Great video!
The 2D, 3D and HD games are all in different "universes" and timelines - GTA and the London games are the "2D universe", GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA Advance, Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories are the 3D universe, and GTA4, GTAV and Chinatown Wars are the HD Universe.
The later games might make nods to the older games, but they're not linked outside of the shared universes.
We know this. I explained this in other comments on here. I see many videos on CZcams that have separate videos for the separate universes. My goal was to make just one video of all the timelines
The whole different universe thing is an excuse by Rockstar for the voice actor conflict and not wanting to bring back old characters.

Nico is a damn goat and since he didn't die, I need him to comeback in the next game or i just need to see his story to the very end. Same with Claude too, I'm glad he took out that bitch Catalina and is finally in peace. I hope I see CJ again, San Andreas will always be a personal favorite and I'm glad he and Smoke made it out the hood struggles. This video is the best timeline I've seen of the series, I got to see stories of people i never even knew who were in other games and it blew my mind. I saw a video that said 4 doesn't connect to any of the older GTAs and 5 doesn't connect to 4. Thanks for this, because I played most GTA and just now realizing it's more connections than cameos

GTA Advance and Chinatown Wars really f*** off their idea of different universes, because following their logic, Advance should be in 2d and Chinatown Wars in 3D.
Since Gta III takes place after Gta san andreas, then how did Claude lose his voice? From what I remember (unless it's just a myth) Claude lost his voice in GTA III after Catalina shot him, and he was already speechless in Gta san andreas.
I think that was just a Rockstar Games flub. They probably didn’t think they would feature Claude in San Andreas. Also, when CJ visits the garage he won from Claude, he calls Claude a “mute a**hole”, proving that Claude didn’t have a voice to begin with, therefore Claude didn’t lose his voice by being shot by Catalina. To be fair, Rockstar didn’t plan for Claude to have a voice actor in the first place

That is a fan theory. Claude is just mute. Its one of those cases where explanation is its a game. People just tried to make sense of it from real life perspective. Game shenmue has a similar thing with people in Hong Kong all speaking Japanese/English. Explanation is its a game.
I think Claude's silence in GTA San Andreas was a way to intimidate CJ than muteness.

Jimmy actually shows some concept of skill. When it comes to stealth and military combat. While his body isn't up to Snuff because of his bad lifestyle in terms of health, the boy has a very cunning and clever mind. He just isn't motivated enough. I think Franklin would be a great person to take Jimmy under his wing. An educate the little punk about the truth between what it means to be a gangster, just some thug. Posing on the street corner and getting Dropped in a drive by. And what it means to be a professional level criminal mastermind like his dad , trevor and franklin himself.

How have you missed the fact that GTA 4 and GTA 5 are set in seperate universes to the other games?
I know they are. The whole point of the video is to just tell events of each GTA game in chronological order. No matter if they a part of the 2D, 3D, or HD Universes.
Sad that Tommy Vercetti is canonically dead seeing as his gravestone can be found in SA. So if they are ever to bring all the OG goat characters back together in one huge story level heist Tommy would have to be un included

@@StoryModeChannel I just back tracked on that old theory and looked for a video. Turns out it was a San Andreas mod where you find a dead Tommy V in a grave as CJ and there is no information to say he is confirmed dead so thank God because him and Claude are my favourite 2 GTA protagnists.
He couldn't come back anyway, GTA Vice City doesn't take place in the same universe as the modern GTA games.
