Quite detailed badges ...terrific workmanship ...proud to achieve any of these 🎖
Good job Col Foster! This HMCS(FMF/CAC) approves. I like how you wove the FMF and CAC in there. There are a few more Navy badges left. I look forward to that video.
I would like to share that during this video the portion that was talking about Seabees there was a award case from a Vietnam Era veteran. If the person was only in during the Vietnam time frame the (SCWS) pin should not be part of his awards given as it came out in the late 1980's. I will say though that he probably deserves it if he were in Vietnam...Thank you for your Service!
Thank you for posting the video, Colonel!
It would be great, if you were to add the Navy Expeditionary Warfare Specialist as well.
Thank you again for a great video sir ! Please keep up the great work.
Great video and very well done! My goal is to get the SCW pin before I retire - PSC(FMF/EXW)
You Missed the Craft masters Breast Badge and the Small Boat Badge both Gold and Silver, Tom
Ah, thank you. I forgot who gets them there and takes them home!
My late father was a seabee
Cool video, looking forward to see the updated Navy awards and insignia book
Most E7 and up wore the 3 ribbons and the warfare pins top and bottom. Brown shoes wore AW airwarefare top and sea warefare below.
The blackshoes wore surface warefare top and the spec. app badge to his service below.
I was attached to MCB5 Seabees for 2 1/2 years and deployed to Vietnam in 1970 and our bataliion was OP CON to III MAF in Danang
and areas north of there. I earned my NEC 8404 designaion at Camp Lejeune in the Spring of 1969. I have always wondered if I would
have been authorized to wear a Fleet Marine Force badge as well as the Seabee Warfare badge ? I was on independetnt duty as the only medical support for a detachment of Seabees building an ACTOV PBR operations base at Kien An on the Cai Lon RIver in the 4th CTZ
in Summer and Fall of '70. Returned to CONUS in November of 1970.. While in Port Hueneme between deploy, ments I was often
assigned to Seabee training companies in the field or at the rifle range, etc. The Seabee warefare badge did not exist back in my day.
HM2 "Doc" Thornton FMF Corpsman (also Naval Hospital Great Lakes 68/69 and Naval Medical Center Bethesda 1969)
Thanks for the interesting information in regard to the USN badges. Not mentioned is the subdued caduces on a black shield
collar device which FMF Corpsman in the field wear. I consider it a badge of honor to have been able to wear one.
Great work Frank 👍
Thanks for the video! But still would like to see the SSO (Strategic Sealift Officer) warfare badge explained too!
Navy Parachute Badge requires 10 jumps including 1 water jump.
thanks, did not know that.
beautiful!
On the Seabee Combat Warfare device, if you look closely you will see a Sabre on the enlisted device and sword on officer device.
Yeah, the Marine Corps has always lagged behind the other services when it comes to Badges and insignia. One would think that the backbone of the Corps, the Infantry, would have some type of combat badge by now.
I scrolled threw the videos and it would be cool to see something more on the Army Air corps
I agree! Coming soon...Wings or patches?
@@veteransmedalsworkshop-moa4376 both would be interesting to learn about but patches would be best in my opinion do to having 2 consecutive videos on badges.
Great vid…. Just a small critique, that neckerchief on the dress blue jumper in the back should be tied in a square knot.
Thanks for the tip!
What about the IUSS badge? I'm curios about that one.
Cool
Anyone here about the new CBRN Badge?

No expeditionary warfare badge?
EXW is so rare that he forgot to add on the video : ) May be he would add it on another video.
Though, he included the very rare one, which is the SPECOPS insignia.
What about MA’s?
Checking IDs and giving tickes for going 1 mph over the speed limit is for another video holmes.
What is a subdued badge?
Usually a badge in flat black or a dull bronze finish.
@@veteransmedalsworkshop-moa4376 and an officer would wear it?
on the battle dress uniform
@@veteransmedalsworkshop-moa4376 thanks
