Es buenísimo hacer ejercicios para consolidar lo que aprendimos, así que te felicito mucho por hacer la práctica! 😀👏 Casi todas tus respuestas son correctas, únicamente hay dos que necesitan revisión: la 3 y la 7.
(Esta es una oportunidad de releer esas frases antes de que veas la explicación) 😁
La 3 debería de ser "a" porque aun no sabemos a cuál de todos los centros comerciales iremos. Iremos a alguno de los muchos centros comerciales que existen, por eso terminamos esa frase con un "Not sure which one yet". (Sin embargo, aunque éste es el uso correcto y didáctico, en la vida real sí podrías escuchar que en ocasiones alguien diga "we're going to the mall" aun sí todavía no saben a cuál centro comercial irán).
La respuesta de la oración 7 es "a" porque ese hamburger inicia con sonido de consonante. Suena como "Jamburguer", como si tuviera una "j", por lo tanto necesitamos únicamente la "a" sin esa "n". La segunda parte está muy bien y sí debe de ser "the" tal como lo pusiste.
De nuevo, felicidades por hacer la práctica y muchos saludos! 😊👋

¡Tus respuestas a las oraciones 1, 2, 4, 5 y 6 son perfectas!
Por cierto, no me había dado cuenta que tenía dos frases con el número 4 😁 jeje.
La primera frase número 4 también es correcta, pero las siguientes oraciones requieren revisión:
3. Andy, we are going to ____ mall on Thursday. Not sure which one yet, but we'll decide soon. (En esta oración no estamos diciendo a qué centro comercial iremos, la frase "not sure which one yet" quiere decir que no tenemos en mente un centro comercial en particular, es uno de muchos. Por lo tanto, ¿qué preposición llevaría esta frase?)
4. I bought some beers yesterday. _____ beers are in the fridge now. (Aquí estamos mencionando el sustantivo "beers" en dos ocasiones. En esa segunda frase, cuando la mencionamos por segunda ocasión, ¿cuál sería la preposición correcta que completaría nuestra oración?)
5. I'd like to order _____ hamburger with extra ketchup. Oh, but please make sure ____ hamburger has no pickles, thanks! (En esta frase, tu respuesta puede o no ser correcta - si por ejemplo viste en el menú que hay una hamburguesa específica que ya la ofrecen con extra catsup, entonces está ok decir "I'd like to order the hamburger with extra ketchup" porque es un tipo de hamburguesa específica que está en el menú, pero si estás simplemente indicando que quieres una hamburguesa y quieres que le pongan más catsup, entonces deberías de decir: "I'd like to order a hamburger with extra ketchup.")
8. The blue whale is ____ heaviest animal in the world. (En este caso estamos siendo muy específicos en el tipo de ballena a la que estamos haciendo referencia, no es cualquier ballena, es la ballena azul, por lo tanto, ¿qué preposición utilizarías?)
9. The car broke down again. It might be time to buy ____ new one! (¡Muy bien! La primera parte sí es "The car" porque estás hablando de un carro que ya se había descompuesto y estás mencionando se descompuso una vez más, es decir es un auto específico que ya tienes identificado. En la segunda parte estás diciendo que tal vez sea tiempo de comprar un auto nuevo. Un auto, uno de los muchos autos que existen... entonces, ¿qué preposición lleva esta frase?)
10. I'll try to book ____ appointment with Dr. Brown tomorrow. (Entiendo que esta oración pueda ser un poco confusa. Aquí lo importante es darnos cuenta que aunque estamos mencionando el nombre del doctor con el que queremos agendar una cita, no estamos siendo específicos en el horario o el día en el que queremos la cita. Lo que nos interesa es agendar una cita, en algún día y en algún horario. Por lo tanto, ¿qué preposición utilizarías?)
