Yes alcohol gives you an appetite.I’m old enough to remember years ago when you where in hospital before supper a drinks trolley came round men had Guinness ladies had sherry to help their appetite.Now you can’t even see a doctor 😂

It is a beautiful dress the young man probably commented about the Cactus because they are from a very popular video game called Final Fantasy....My son has them in sticker form. but they make all kinds of clothing etc..... also plays the game.... Dear Suzi so wonderful to see you smiling & so happy! You are never invisible. I think it was your sadness which is probably not the right word but mourning our loved one kind of does that; maybe a protection from bad or rash comments but we miss the good too. The red lippy was stunning especially when you wear black & white. Loved that outfit with the black long sleeves underneath. The summer dress is one of my favs you wear & the belt with it and vintage bag are lovely. I'd wear a belt if I still had a waist & really need to do something about that b4 my next bday in July, don't want my mid 70s to continue to be a pudge, pudgy. I've been walking but since that virus the end of January my lungs complain. Allergy season here at the moment everything is blowing in air in these smoky mountains. I love fresh flowers but not an option with this kitten now 2 yrs old. What a fun time in London you're having. Oh I almost forgot thank you for introducing us to Jon! Best wishes to him this summer. You look fabulous in everything & are inspiring and uplift my spirits. I've never disliked anything you've worn over past few years until now..just ignore me as a rude American. But I don't like the white top. Just not my taste, your arms are in very good shape ( the rolls of the new top remind me of a roll of the white duct tape I have for repairs ). I should've just not commented but sometimes you ask. Forgive me? I'm old & sometimes crabby and not trendy at least not since the late 1960s or 70s.

Red lipstick, husband introduced me to it as part of a present many years ago and it then became a thing with slightly different shades until I had to say no more I have so many😂, lucky me. You looked glam as ever, I sure people were looking at the whole package. People haven’t got money to spend plus if you don’t live in London it costs a lot to get in and if you want to drive in well that’s a different problem. I love all the outfits you took to London with you and that lovely summer dress is fabulous on you! 😍 That red lipstick does look great on you too! However, I don't think that it's just the red lipstick that are drawing the lovely comments as you are just fabulous with or without it!
I think that a lot of people getting together for an organised walk for a purpose (whatever it's for) is an amazing idea and it sounds like a lot of fun!
My husband is a paraplegic, consequently he's a full time wheelchair user. You wouldn't believe the amount of hotels that claim they have wheelchair accessible rooms only to find that there isn't enough room for him to get around the room, some, he hasn't even been able to get into the bathroom! (Premier Inns are usually very good, however, we have known them to give the rooms to able bodied people and there has been no room for hubby!)
It is a total nightmare for wheelchair users, even our Silver Wedding anniversary was spoiled as we drove all the way from Devon to the Lake District for a lovely long weekend, only to find that our wheelchair accessible room at a five star hotel was the size of a cupboard and hubby couldn't turn around in there or get to the bed. We found ourselves at 9pm at night frantically ringing around trying to find somewhere else to stay!

I am so sorry to hear about your husband and how shit places are when catering for those who are not able bodied. Premier Inn is good though and the only reason they gave me that room was that there were no others left. So yes, that’s really bad if someone more deserving needed it I quite agree. I thought it was all getting better nowadays. Just not good enough to hear this from you. If anyone on here knows a good organisation that Hazel can contact, please shout xx

Loved your London look Suzi ❤️. I have stayed at the premier inn hub in Covent Garden, the rooms are small but I was impressed by how well designed they were. While I’m talking about premier inn- a top tip if you’re flying from Heathrow Terminal 4 and need to stay over. The premier inn is about a 5 minute walk along an indoor corridor, no fussing with shuttle buses or taxis if you have an early flight or a late arrival ❤

So glad you enjoyed and more to come from London next one. I bought 2 gorgeous tees in the end , very small and very tight but they look lovely! Will show you when I have time. I tried on the pleated skirt but they really don’t suit me and although the long top looked great with it they cost way too much for me to justify yet another skirt when I already have 2 in my wardrobe and the new cream one, which I still haven’t worn! Hi from Annie you look fab in all those clothes. The red lippy is very daring I got some but usually put a bit of pink over it not game yet to wear full on red lippy.
ten thous steps is a good thing used to be able to do that few years ago am tryn to get fit again. It is nicer if you have someone to walk with I don't so it is easy to get a bit slack walks alone do need someone to come along with me that way I walk further etc. A Young man to walk with would be ideal for me😂

Thank you so much Shelagh, no not at all rude! I am normally a 12 up top and 14 bottom but I have been known to fit perfectly well in a very small top and 12 trousers and 10 dresses. Sizing is ridiculous nowadays! x

I am loving the pleated skirt!! I have always wanted to get one (or three), but I'm worried my bum may flatten out the pleats! I have an office job, so sitting comes with the occupation. What is your view regarding bum flattened pleats? Am I overthinking it?? Love the red lipstick x
Hi Kim, I loved it too but I find most of them very unforgiving! I don’t think your bum would flatten the pleats at all, but I’m not an expert. Maybe give Theory a call? But I think you might be overthinking it a tad! Go try one on. I often scrunch up the material of something I want to buy to make sure it doesn’t crease as soon as I sit in it - making sure they’re not watching! The red lipstick is MAC Ruby Woo and still one of my faves. Gladyou like. x

I totally understand you were given the accessible room by chance but I would urge people not to specifically ask for an accessible room unless they have a disability that requires them to need that space and those facilities. For my severly disabled father and many others like him, these fully accessible, wet room bedrooms are their only option.
