yep, played this last year and it's now the only way i play sunshine. i have a deep nostalgia for the og version, but this adds far too many qol changes for me to ever go back to vanilla. anyway, keep playing romhacks because you really seem to enjoy them and it's fun to watch you play them.
This hack is actually insane. The fact that it literally fixes every problem Sunshine had and even goes as far as to add new content to the game is just crazy. Props to the devs for making it and thank you for bringing this hack to my attention because I love Sunshine, but can't stand all of the nonsense that comes with it.
highly recommend this hack, it's super fun and i can honestly say that i enjoy it even more than the official 3d mario games. hopefully the corporate scumbags at nintendo don't strike it down.

might want to understand the difference between partial and full L+R trigger inputs (each trigger has both a joystick and a button input, looks like you didn't map anything to the joysticks?)

I mapped the spray and run to r3, that way I can run and shoot.
