- It's Friday August 26, 2022 and warbirds continue to arrive for this year's Warbird Roundup hosted by Warhawk Air Museum at Nampa, Idaho. The B-25J from Planes of Fame Museum is in movie paint. A contingent from northern Idaho includes an award-winning deHavilland Beaver restoration, a P-40N, and a P-51. Watch as a USAF F-35 from Hill AFB, Utah, forms up with a P-38 and F-51D over Nampa for a practice show of their heritage formation. Warbird Roundup is scheduled for Aug. 27-28 2022, and is a popular event in Idaho's Treasure Valley.

That deHavilland Beaver sure brought back memories of my time in Vietnam. I spent a few hours in one delivering thermite destroyers throughout the delta area. in 1968.

That's awesome! I was there that day but my phone was glitching and I only managed to snap one photo. The photo was awesome though, it had a view from right under them all lined up. The 35 is amazing, and that roar was crazy, you couldn't hear it until it was about 14 metres away from you.
