I moved to Scotland as season one was about to be released, I knew nothing about the books and the story itself. I moved there to live with my Scottish boyfriend and after we watched season 1 together he started calling me sassenach sometimes. He was the love of my life, we lived in complete symbiosis and loved each other to no end. He died a few months ago and it's as if I've died too that day. I'm not the same as I was before, nothing interests me anymore, I just miss him too much it hurts to even breathe. I hope I'll find it in my heart to watch this last season even without him by my side. I love you Alasdair.
Jamie and Claire both represent for me what a couple should be: a companionship driven by mutual respect, complicity, solidarity and love that resists time without any submission from one towards the other ..❤ That's one of the many reasons I am so fan of this serial.. Outlander in my heart forever 💕❤️🔥
Unfortunately, in real life they hold no such noble feelings. Sam didn’t have the courage of his convictions and made some excuse that the letter from actors supporting a Palestine ceasefire wasn’t about peace. It was, and he probably now is close to realising he chose to side with Zionists. As for Catriona, a patron of child cancer, absolutely nothing on the massacre of Gaza children. Not even when a children’s’ cancer ward was bombed by Israel. Shame on them both.
All good things must come to an end...
Man im going to miss it.
I know a lot of people want it out sooner, but let it take its time.

I'm gonna miss outlander so much!! 🤧 I started watching outlander after my mom passed away 2 years ago. It helped me as I was grieving the death of my mom. It made things a little easier. I had something to look forward to. This show helped me escape my harsh reality. I was happy and distracted whenever I was binge watching 😅 Outlander is much more than just a show! I've been patiently waiting for months and months for season 8 to be released! I'm so excited yet sad. It's a bittersweet moment.
I understand how you feel Julie, sorry for your loss, I’ve watched Outlander since day one a decade ago, my beautiful kind hearted late husband past away the week the series was released, he never had the chance to watch this remarkable once in a life time love story, Jamie & Claire’s story gave me the will to live and face each day without him, I’m so disappointed I may not get to see the ending, at 85 and failing health issues it’s in the lap of the gods as the saying goes, Indeed a bittersweet moment 😢 xx

Have watched this series 3 times and each time I see something I missed previously. Can’t wait for the rest of season 7 (too long to wait til November but........) hope I live long enough to see it and Season 8. Right now I’m 81 so hoping. Thinking I will read the books just in case. Amazing Author, cast and crew and scenery, so authentic. I’m Scottish so I enjoy seeing the country.

So sad to think that Season 8 will be the last for Outlander. I enjoy this series so much. Awesome actors and actresses. Can't wait to season seasons 7 and 8!
This series is such an Emerald Gem. Sad to see it end, but thankful I pressed play so many moons ago. Truly a wonderful cast that evoked tears, laughter, sadness and joy. Thank you!

I hope Season 8 flashes forward to encompass what happens in the remaining books. ⏩ I've loved OUTLANDER, as has my mother and some friends of mine. I hope many more will watch it and love it, even long after the series ends.
But book nr 10 is not even done yet so i guess it will be some strange end
Hope Sam&Cautriona do a BTS Documentary at the end of Outlander give us more details,and their feelings about their 10+ years together by the time it finishes!

Since I read the first book, I have been fascinated by the story. And since I saw the series on TV it was the best!
Incredible show! Amazing actors!❤ Sam's stealing Jamie's boots is everything I needed today to make me smile😅
How nice to see Sam and Caitriona being playful with each other! The last few years have been so weird seeing the two of them being aloof with each other. I assume they did it to quell rumors of their alleged "love affair" which is ridiculous. These two very fine actors have great chemistry together, but they have always been great friends with no romantic entanglements. Fans should appreciate and respect that without contributing to all the salacious gossip. I will miss Outlander terribly, but we'll always have the reruns to enjoy. I look forward to seeing what new projects are in store for the two of them once they conclude their show commitments.
I have loved this show and will miss it terribly but it will be going out in a blaze of glory! And hopefully we will be able to continue to watch it again and again for many years to come! 🤍💙

Since STARZ has drug out this whole year to show the second part of season 7 it will be another year or maybe more till we see season 8. In very disappointed in these long delays as their is not much more on STARZ that I care to watch. Don’t know if I will go the distance with STARZ even though I love Outlander.
Outlander is the best thing STARZ has ever done. They’ve had a couple of OK shows, but currently, there is absolutely nothing that interests me. For that reason, I have dropped my subscription to STARZ. I might restart just to watch the second half of season 7, then totally call it quits. Too much game playing with how they keep changing the scheduling.
@karenranallo3836 It's been a supersized droughtlander for sure! Think how the cast and crew feel? I just hope Starz has communicated better with them, since they often work on other projects besides Outlander. I actually forgot to cancel my Starz subscription after the finale of Season 7A, because they bill me once per year in February. Quite sneaky, if you ask me. Outlander and Men in Kilts are the only programs I've ever watched on Starz, so it's a waste of money to renew until Outlander returns. I think Starz could do a better job attracting viewers if they broadcast better movies and original series.

It has been healing and life affirming about the transcendent power of love. ~The OL team has done a spectacular job in every way. But the casting is out of this world! Especially the magical ✨ once-in-lifetime pairing of Sam and Caitríona. I've never seen the likes of them. 😍I know I never will again. They made Jamie & Claire come to life in the most believable way I've ever seen. They'll live in my heart forever. 🥲💖 Thank you so much Starz, for allowing them to come back one more time. 🙌❤

After the short season 6, STARZ kept touting a “supersized season 7 with 16 episodes,” then broke it into two seasons of 8 episodes each, shown a year apart. i call that “bait and switch,” aka lying.
I'm still salty about that. When is the second half coming out?? Just looked it up, NOVEMBER?!? Infuriating!

I'm a bit confused. Is Part 2 of Season 7 the final season? Before, Starz was saying that Season 8 is going to be the last season. Is there going to be a Season 8 after Part 2 of Season 7??
Side note: I HATE that Starz told us Season 7 would have 16 episodes in 2 parts, and then made us wait over 18 months for Part 2... You can't call it Part 2 if it takes just as long as a standard season to come out...
Season 8 is the final one and filming on it has started. Season 7 Part 2 premieres in November
