Just have 2 questions if ya don’t mind… 1.)Can an individual submit the same receipt across multiple apps like Ibotta and fetch..etc? 2.)If one earns a significant amount, does the individual have to claim or submit any of these earnings during tax time?
1) it depends on the app. You have to read each offer. Swagbucks and checkout51 do not allow you to combine. 2) I’m not an accountant, but I believe the only taxable income is if you have referral income over a certain amount.

Hello do you have to purchase the item on the store that shows on app like target had all my items but the item shows available on Walmart or dollar get it I purchased on target can I still submit the receipt and get the cash back thanks
If you click into the store it lists everything that qualifies, some won't work at other stores and sometimes other stores might have a different deal for the same items. So maybe target has $3 back on a 57ct tide pods and maybe walgreens doesn't have any offers for them and maybe walmart is buy 2 get $6 back on the same one. Just have to double check and read the full details. If you click on the item/offer itself it will show how many you need to buy or what the limit is and what size products qualify and any exclusions, then below that a list of stores the offer is good for.

Make sure you’re PayPal is verified. If you haven’t seen it within the day, email Ibotta customer service to see what’s going on. It doesn’t take long for me. I have recently been cashing out to gift cards to pay for my groceries, but PayPal never took long for me when I used it.

I’ve never done it, but try this: open app, click redeem, select Walmart. Click option to link your loyalty account and link your Walmart account. See if that works. I’ve only ever submitted physical receipts.
That tab goes away on occasion. Hopefully it comes back. The only other way I know how is to sort by “best value” or “new offers” but that doesn’t always work.

Hi Christina, I signed up for Ibotta just yesterday and I'm having issues redeeming offers for Target. I noticed they don't have the option to upload a receipt. I have my Target account linked, but I don't see my most recent in-store purchase confirmed on Ibotta. Do you know what the issue could be?
You don’t have to add a credit card. If you’ve already downloaded the app, you’re likely out of luck on the referral. You could email them and ask and give them the referral code
Your video was very helpful but I have a couple questions. My receipt was to long. I took extra snap of it like told to do. But not 100% it got sent through. What do I do? My second question is.. are all grocery items a choose good at all the grocery store I log into. Or are stores able to choose what they want to be giving a rebate on. You should see it in your earnings or pending in your account. If not, submit again. When you click on a store, it’ll show you the offers that are available at that store for rebate. If you see a rebate and buy it at that store and submit to Ibotta, you’ll get the rebate
You buy the item at whatever price they are at the store (could be full price, could be sale, could be clearance). Regardless, you’ll get back the rebate amount

Very informative video. Thanks, but I do have a question. I recently bought some detergent. On the offered it says limited of 5 so I purchased 5. Yes I did scan to make sure they were on rebate. But now when I submit my receipt, it only shows up as 1 and I am not receiving the full rebate as the totals don't add up. Am I doing something wrong?
When you scan the receipt it’ll pull the offers up. Make sure it is correct before you submit. You can change the quantity if it doesn’t recognize the correct quantity. It’ll often have you scan the item again when you do that.

Yes you can use coupons- there’s currently only a few offers at Walmart that state you can’t combine with coupons. Just read the offer to double check

As long as you get a scannable receipt that you can submit to Ibotta! I’ve never seen them have issues with how the items were paid for.

If you unlink your target account, you can upload a receipt. That’s how I’ve always done it with target.

But now when I submit my receipt, it only shows up as 1 and I am not receiving the full rebate as the totals don't add up. Am I doing something wrong?
When you scan the receipt it’ll pull the offers up. Make sure it is correct before you submit. You can change the quantity if it doesn’t recognize the correct quantity. It’ll often have you scan the item again when you do that.

I scanned in a receipt and now it says”offers found” and brings up a page to confirm. I didn’t buy any of the items listed but there is no way to continue. What do I do?
You should be able to uncheck any items you didn’t actually purchase :)
If I purchased 2 items but had a limit of 5. How long will it take for offer to reappear? I made a purchase yesterday and would like to make same purchase today but the offer isn't showing yet.
Normally if the offer is going to reset, it happens after 24 hours.

I believe $5 is what you would get without my code, but my code gives you $10 instead :)

I’d suggest contacting Ibotta. I never link my account because I prefer the ability to scan my receipt.
