A nice £6,000 lambretta back on the road well done guys
Enjoyed the vid, made me laugh at the budget repair on the clutch😊. Looking forward to the next installment 👍
Glad you enjoyed that. 🤣 Cheers!
Great seeing the old girl spring back to life again, please keep it up
Thanks Craig!
Get the air filter rubber changed, new clutch cable and adjust it, possibly look at the carb jetting.
Yeah, good advice. Cheers.
Scott, the guy who has the Lambretta Pacemaker channel filled his tank with white wine vinegar for a week and left it, shaking it every now and then. It came up pretty good.

Good tip. I watched his first episode, I'll go back and watch more.
Old skool British Racing Green paint job by the looks of it
I’ve owned a couple of Vespa’s (manual and automatic) but if I’m honest I’ve always wanted a Lambretta!
Loving the wet tar sign 🏴
My first bike was a 1969 Lambretta 150, I bought in 1973! P.S. there from Italy!
Whaaaa-hoooo! She runs! She has a semi-working clutch! She's getting a new fuel tank! Good on ya', fellas. Now, I'm off to the next one...
Yes, a quick budget makeover, which gets Justin on the road with his first Lambretta/scooter. We’re really pleased. And Justin can continue to make improvements along the way. A new clutch maybe needed before long, but it’s doing ok right now. Many thanks for the support.
If you want to save a bit of money and the tank is solid enough to save you could remove the tank leaving the hose attached then use a m6 bolt to block the hose, the handful of old nuts and bolts or pea shingle, cup of water, fuel cap on then strap to the front of a cement mixer barrel, leave rotating for 30mins, check and if clean empty, flush a dry.
Good job guy's, it's getting there.
Thanks!
Spookily i remember finding a S1 lambretta li150 in near enough the same colour and condition as this dumped behind some abandoned garages as 14 year old in the late 70s, sadly i never went back for it!, im just hoping someone else found it and got it running, great video guys looking forward to more!..
Good progress Scott & Co, really surprised that it started with no covering of the carb when jet washing but hey, we all know these machines built to go through a lot😉. Definitely strip carb fully and clean or replace jets like for like as a starting point plus new tank & fuel line as you said. Maybe better to engine case cover to inspect clutch mate, they are not dear for new plates & springs. Keep up the great work, look forward to the next one 👍👍
Thanks for great advice Kevin. We did actually tape up the end of the carb before jet washing btw. Cheers
If your clutch is stuck, Motor off, put in 1st gear, pull clutch in and rock back and forward till the clutch free. If it won't idle check the pilot jet.
Defo Spanish as it has the factory frame strengthening gusset at the engine mount on the r/h side. What a lovely little product. Bit of t-cut and the paint will come up a treat
Thanks for the gusset info Shaun, good to know. 😊 Yeah, looking forward to making it shine a bit.
Try removing the fuel tank. Put a bit of fish tank gravel in it. Shake it about for awhile. Tip it out and clean with a drop of fuel. It should come up clean and get rid of any rust inside.
Great advice, cheers!
Nice one
Thanks 🔥
Well done Gentlemen! Good to see another classic on the roads.
Thank you kindly.
Great vid guys really enjoyed it ✊🏼👊🏻✊🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
Another top vid Scott. Its probably only running on the choke as the jets will be gummed up in the carb. Wes strip down n dunk in a tub o carb cleaner and some fresh fuel after tank cleaned out and she'll be good to go 😀
Let’s hope so. Cheers
Great video guys, loving what your doing 👍🏻
Thanks so much!
Nice intro!
😂 Thanks.
Great stuff, really getting there now..
Thanks Neil.
Pintxos for dinner! This lambretta is made in Eibar (Basque Country)
Now I’m hungry. 😊
think Gunk works best when the engine is warm...check the tin instructions. Motorex Moto Clean is also really Good for generally cleaning bikes. New airbox gater and carb clean should see her run off the choke better. top work scotty
All good advice, thanks. I’ll check out the Motorex stuff.
excellent video guys! looking forward to part 3 already
Coming soon!
Great work with the hammer and dolly's , lambretta is coming up really well ,would be my dream to find that in a barn .but the chances in Latvia are probably zero🤷♂️ looking forward the the next stage ...Harry
Thanks Harry!
Looking at the gusset that’s welded onto the engine bolt mount tube would indicate that it’s a Spanish frame.
Thanks Michael!
The name's Wash... Jet Wash! Pleased to meet ya. :0)
😂🤘
Did the dude with the tatooed arms use to have a small YT channel some years ago? I can't tell if it's him or just look similar. Channels was about bikes and started with a chinese 125cc bike.
Straight giveaway is the engine mount bar strengthening bit, Spanish
It was originally green, it says so on DVLA site👍🏼
Always been a biker myself but I remember in the mid 1980’s lots of scooters had the side panels off and chromed engine, I thought they looked so cool! Is that still a thing? Not seen one for years.
It is still I thing I guess, but maybe not so common these says. I do like that panel off look. Cheers!
Sounds like you need to replace the kickstart piston as it sounds like it’s rubbing on first gear.
Could you not have used a chain rivet removal tool to take that pin out the stand?
Bit of a psychobilly vibe going on …love it. No frame no’s? That will deffo tell ya. LCGB will have all frame number details, or they did when I re registered my GP back in ‘95
Yeah, nice clean frame numbers. They'll be checked soon. Cheers!
Have you changed the air filter hose as it was split?
Check out the next episode. We got a new hose….but I ordered the wrong one, so we got creative. Cheers.
Defo Spanish guys. look at the frame by the right hand engine mount it has a triangle strenghtener if you look at the other lammys they want have one unless there spanish hahaha 🤣
Great info, thanks!
That should be blue me thinks
Where is pt 3!?
Sooon! 😊🙏
Surely you need to strip the carb and clean it?
We did that in Part 1. :-) czcams.com/video/P3zI-ghju2s/video.htmlsi=CSCFsXo_eSjItRiD
Defo Italian..
Not with those strengthening gussets on the engine mount, that’s Spanish.
Check tool box to see if Spanish, smaller because of air filter
Its spanish,if there is wrote Eibar on the front sign
Thanks.
dont suppose you will disclose what you paid
Nicely done as always! I wonder why not make it a custom super Electric Racer and take her out and burn the hell out of those slow ass Petrol Street Motorcycles lol that would be sweet.
