  • Hi guys. Long time no see! I had been quite busy with life but here is another tutorial on how we can create psytrance grid sounds.
    In this specific tutorial, we are using Serum as our VST but we can basically create these grids with any synth. Hopefully the workflow and the rhythmical tips will make sense to you as well :)
    Please let me know how you like it and subscribe for upcoming videos. Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for the Tutorial. You know what I liked the most in your tutorial? This calm deep satisfying voice you have xDD And no blingziaarrrbooong soundeffects at the beginning of the video. No overhyped, i-got-too-much-amphetamines-in-my-brain behavior. This was soo nice to watch and listen. Finally somebody on youtube being just calm and easy. thank you for that

    Thanks, those sounds perfect! Why are they called "grid sounds"? 🤔

    • @psykick_music
      @psykick_music  Před 2 lety +2

      Basically you make a couple of these sounds and sequence them in a 2, 4, 8 or even 16 bar loop. The length of that loop is called 'the grid' by many people, hence the name 'grid sounds' :) All-in-all, it's all made up :) Some people call these 'stabs' as well.

      @@psykick_music cool! I recently learned from another video how to make "duck farts". Psytrance has the best names for sounds 😅

      @@clarkflavor Loool I think I would call those 'squelches'.. so there goes another name for you there :)
