Very sorry to have to report that Reg Roach, a great and beloved friend to many of his customers, passed away at the age of 91 on 2 May, 2022. And, unfortunately, the store is closing down--Reg's son Paul will continue the business in some form, but he is moving to only online sales. I was privileged to have frequented the store, and enjoyed Reg and Paul's company, for nearly 15 years. There was no other place like it, and its loss--and the passing of Reg--will be deeply felt by many.

i went to this shop some years ago when i was wanting to pick up a leica. such friendly people. i was in the store for a good 20 mins just speaking to them. i must pop back
They are great, it's more like a social club than a shop. We had to stop filming quite a few times as people came in for a chat!. Thank you for watching, have fun, Dave.

It's very sad news, I only met Reg a couple of times but his knowledge and charm was infectious. A true gentleman who will be sadly missed.
