I am blind due to optic nerve atrophy, therefore I have to rely on voiceover and Siri on my iPhone. One issue I’ve been having ever since the initial iOS 17 update is every time I have Siri read my text messages out loud it stops reading the message halfway through and never completes it. This doesn’t happen if I am using my AirPods though. This gets really aggravating… Hopefully they will fix this issue with a future update.

I updated as soon as I noticed the update and on my iPhone 15 Pro, it was quick. Like you said, nothing new and I hope that any of the issues I had been going on about are corrected with iOS 17.2, such as any music app issues and the TV app and syncing issues I had been having, since 17.1 came along. Anyway, as usual, great video.
I hope it fixes the wallpaper background blur issue. The blur is active but the image isn’t blurred.
Another great video & it always amazes me how quick they deliver iOS updates & they keen to address any securities updates, etc cetera.
I remember the days when Apple categorically stated that IOS couldn’t be hacked!!! lol

My guess is that, they’re still testing the security response or have found an issue regarding that type of update, and so, delayed it until a later point. That, or it hasn’t yet reached the efficiency that Apple expected it to. In any case, nice vid! Keep it up!

An early issues you raised with iOS17, was a glitch with personalized ringtones. Have Apple bothered fixing that issue?

After upgrading to the 15 pro max from my 13 pro max iOS 17 was factory installed on my new iPhone. I gotta say this is the worst iOS update I’ve experienced. My phone crashes/re-boots a lot. the new layout for a lot of things they have changed is worse. My apps constantly keep refreshing for no apparent reason. it’s actually so bad I want to go back to iOS 16.

Any improvement on battery for 17.1.2? I’m currently 17.1.1 and I think battery has been pretty good for my 15pm
The following App Library issue seems to be still there in iOS 17.1.2 (and 17.2 beta 4):
1. Swipe right to the App Library
2. Tap the App Library search bar and then type something, i.e. abcde
3. Tap , while holding swipe left to leave App Library
4. Swipe right to return to the App Library
5. Swipe left to leave the App Library again and then swipe left and/or open some apps
6. Swipe right to go to the App Library again
7. Tap on the App Library, Scroll through the App Library app lists, then to try to type something
8. Screen no longer respond to any inputs
It’s all BS a marketing strategy!! Do not get it !! Turn off your automatic updates immediately!’ It destroys your iPhone!!

Hi Aaron, I noticed you were referencing the blue iPhone as an iPhone 14 Pro Max in this video however it is actually the iPhone 13 Pro Max… i noticed this for the colour and of course lacking the Dynamic Island. Also when buying the 15 Pro Max, I do prefer the black titanium although my concern is it chipping if dropped. I plan to fit a 5x military grade drop protection MOOV case which is supposed to be safe up to 4 metres. Do you think the black colour might wear out in time within the case after some significant time?

I know you’ve been having a notification glitch where just kind of pops in but my 15 Pro Max I’ve never had that glitch I just find it kind of weird how some phones have certain glitches and other ones does it but love your videos. Keep the good work up bro.

How good is the battery life on iPhone 13 with iOS 17.1.2?
Apple Keyboard is so buggy. Keeps going to the app switcher whenever I type quickly. Doesn't happen when using Gboard so I'm stuck to using that till it's fixed

I’ve been using iPhones since the sixth generation of phones but I don’t think I’ve seen a more poor quality and bug laden iOS version than iOS17. Apple has in my opinion definitely dropped the ball and their quality has declined.

Completely agree! It’s laggy, poor battery life, intermittent Wi-Fi issues , overheating. I’m hoping that 17.2 will lift the experience.

I have a IPhone 13! For some reason I’m unable to update to 17.1.2! I’ve tried with the scheduled update at midnight, and manually updating the system. I keep getting a message that the update is unavailable, and to try later! Please help!

I have a 12 pro max and have had the issue with safari becoming unresponsive long before this update. It randomly happens especially if I scroll before immediately when opening a page. Most times I can go to the home screen and then back to the app but sometimes I have to fully close the app to get it to work again
My 17.1.2 update failed to install. My wife’s phone did install but it did not fix the AirPrint issue. Still cannot print screenshots even though the printer comes up on the list that can be selected
All I want is better battery life on the 15pro.

This update fix my battary drain for my 13 pro.
I have bought an iphone 15 around 5 days ago. its on ios 17.1.2 and im charging it with the same 20w adaptor through which i used to charge my iphone 11. but after 4 days today i charge it 91 percent at 12:00pm and its battery drain so fast and phone automatically getting hot without even using it. i ended up at 2 percent at 9:00 pm battery with screen usage of 3-4 hours with gaps. please suggest me something as i am worried, should i buy a new charging adaptor or maybe wait for new update or is there any issue in my phone specifically.
Have you noticed the weather app on watch doesn’t allow you to scroll with full screen details like it would allow before. 😮
Have you experienced this: when you’re typing (a text or anything) and you try to go back and edit, the blue highlight just goes bonkers. As soon as I tap in front of the word it keeps highlighting it and it won’t let me get off the word or edit it and I ultimately have to delete it and retype it. It’s awful!!

i do not have the notification bug that you have, in the 12 pro and 15 pro, runs smooth, the wallpaper thing also do not notice it.

I’m using 16.6.1 on my iPhone Xs Max with 81% battery health and it runs smoothly so far but the battery drains fast So, I wonder should i update to 17.1.2 because i don’t want my phone’s battery become worse after an update. Any suggestions?
They still haven't fixed the issues with notification to Apple Watch with the contact’s name for the number where i get notification from a call and only shows a phone number but not the contact’s name.
I just updated mine
After updating both of my iPhone 10 XRs and my 11 inch iPad Pro, the custom Transparency Mode (which I use daily) stopped working. Transparency mode just stopped working entirely. I have not found a way to re-enable it so I’m hoping that this bug gets fixed soon.

My iphone 15 Pro still has issued with failing to install new software updates. I have to turn it off and on again for it to install properly.
This was supposed to be addressed in an earlier update.
