Basically a worse version of the OG puzzle quest. The keys to unlock chest that will eventually require premium currency because the usual keys are limited is a red flag.
Yeah i was thinking the same. The old one was fun to play and this one looks nice but now it is just a other app to claim some whales and try to get money about everything. I deinstalled it after the first premium 5$ add showed up….
What's crazy about the PQ games is how many features have been stripped out of it, PQ1 was actually a lot of game compared to anything that came after
PQ is truly lighting in a bottle imo. There's been a ton of sequels/spin-offs and none have ever been as good as the first game.

I just bought puzzle quest 1 on steam and have just started playing. I remembered playing this game when I was like 8 years old and wanted to give it a try again because I thought it was so cool even though I couldn’t remember the name. Fortunately it stuck with me and I can see why. There’s so much to do in PQ1! You can siege castles, capture units to learn their spells, traversal of the map is interesting, it has a pretty deep story it seems, and best of all it doesn’t have a micro transaction shop to remind me of ways I could spend money instead of playing the game
FG the type of dude to say impression mini at the beginning and follow it by 16 minutes of content. Gotta love it.

Puzzle Quest 1 was one of my favourite games on handheld. One of the most addicting match 3s I've ever played.
As old school puzzle quest player/fan this is definitely worth playing. Always wanted implementation of turn base characters animations! Thanks FG3000! 🤠

Gems of war
Not going to lie, puzzle games always get my attention. I was hardcore with Gems of War for a while until it the story mode got too hard unless you did pvp for stronger units. I think I'll give this one a try. It's why I really like digital card games like Legends of Runterra and Eternal, challenging puzzles/strategy to me.

@@omegawolfakali589 yes, I have tried it, I didn't like it as much as others. I think it was the anime art style. I settled on Legends of Runterra and Eternal with some Mythgard thrown in. Have you tried Eternal or Mythgard? Both on Steam.

@@omegawolfakali589 Eternal is the closest game to Magic: The Gathering I've ever played without the problems of Magic. Eternal has campaigns to teach the game and earn cards through other campaigns. Mythgard has a full-on story mode. Eternal is my favorite, followed by Legends of Runterra and then Mythgard.
Is this from the same guys that made Puzzle Quest Trial of the Warlords?
I'll stick with Gems of War, but I get what they're going for here. The timer would drive me batty, like it did in PAD.
