Same thing here. 2 years ago, I had just bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max at Al Watan Center and then proceeded to a typing center in the same building to do some photocopying. The place had many people walking in and out. I placed the phone on the counter beforehand and totally forgot about it afterwards thinking it was in my bag. Mind you, I had not even placed my SIM card inside the phone or created my apple account yet so I totally freaked out when I got home and realized it wasn’t with me.
I quickly booked an Uber and dashed to the place while praying for a miracle. Immediately I got into the store, the dude that attended to me earlier reached down into his counter and brought out my phone. He could have kept it and said he never saw it and there was absolutely nothing I could have done at that point except blame my carelessness. Now imagine this was in Ghana 😂
