    Trundle's goal for the Swans against Carlisle in Trophy final at Millennium Stadium is unforgettable ! An amazing talent and cracking guy.

    Trundle really took Wales to his heart. He used to play for my local club Wrexham. Honorary Welshman who unfortunately for us was never qualified to play for our national team.

      How good do you think he would of been for Wales if he was allowed to play for them?

    As a Rhyl supporter he was like a breath of fresh air when he signed for us in early 2000's . The then League of Wales defenders didn't know what hit them. Left us all too quickly for Wrexham and went from strength to strength.

      @@LocationFootball You left the most important bit out 😂. It's Briton Ferry Llansawel. The two clubs used to be separate entities up until 2009, when they merged. I used to play for Llansawel.

    I played for Llansawel before they merged with Briton Ferry (from the early 1990s to the mid 2000s). Our record was better against Ammanford than this current shower of shit though 😂).

      What position were you? Are Ammanford your rivals?

    • @VengerVideoGamer
      @VengerVideoGamer Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@LocationFootball Centre-back.
      As for rivals, not really, just one of the closer teams we got to play when we first got into the Welsh League after winning the Neath League in 2005-2006. I think I might have played them in season 2007-2008 though, when Barry Colwill was manager of Llansawel, I know the result was 1-1 over Cwrt Herbert. I left shortly after to play Neath League football once again as I was in my early 30s back then.

    • @LocationFootball
      @LocationFootball  Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@VengerVideoGamer decent level you got then. Loved our trip to Swansea we did. Any other team recommendations we should go see?

    • @VengerVideoGamer
      @VengerVideoGamer Před 10 měsíci

      @@LocationFootball I'm not sure what level you'd be interested in, I'm assuming it's probably Welsh League standard and no lower? I don't really watch Welsh League football as I was still playing up until quite recently. I'm nearly 50 now though. There are a few Welsh League clubs around the Neath/Swansea area; you've already featured Ammanford, and by default Briton Ferry Llansawel (who haven't got a bad setup themselves now). There's also Ynysygerwn who play from Llandarcy, and Seven Sisters Onllwyn in the immediate area, along with Goytre United, Afan Lido and Port Talbot Town.
