4K Australia And Sydney By Drone - Gliding #020 - With Relaxation Chill Out Ambient Music

Scene 1 - Hardy Inlet, Augusta, WA
Hardy Inlet is the wide, lower basin of the Blackwood Estuary that opens to the Southern Ocean south West of the town of Augusta in Western Australia. Because of its shallow banks - with a depth of less than 1 metre - the area is spectacular to film from the air as you can enjoy from this opening sequence to Gliding #020.

Scene 2 - Shelly Beach, Manly Beach and Queenscliff, Sydney Harbour, NSW
I’m always astounded by the volume of humanity willing to take to the ocean in Australia. There are plenty of reasons not to (sharks, rip tides, waves etc) but the temptation of sparkling blue water is overwhelming for many it seems. In this sequence we start at Shelley Beach and pass over recreational ocean swimmers making the trip to Manly Beach and back. Heading north past Shelley we fly over Manly and it’s surfers, kayakers, surf ski’s and swimmers. Before ending with a climb above Queenscliff.

Scene 3 - Sunrise Departure, Ulladulla Harbour, NSW
Ulladulla is an all weather, breakwater harbour 24km south of Jervis Bayon the South Coast of NSW. Although it is mainly a fishing port it also caters for recreational boat owners.
In this sequence I was fortunate enough to catch a golden sunrise with the sun’s early morning rays stretching across the ocean from the horizon right up to the camera. It seemed natural to follow the departing fisherman as they left port and headed out into the open sea on such a gorgeous morning.

Scene 4 -Tree, Crows Nest, Sydney, NSW
Occasionally a moment presents itself whereby a concept for a sequence arises and you just go ahead and shoot it. This is the case with ‘Tree’. I was standing in a park filming for a different idea \ sequence when I spotted a tree that looked elegant and interesting.
From this came the simplest of drone shots - the elevator (straight up without moving forward or backward or without any rotation.) Add in a little tilt of the camera on its axis and a whole different view of a tree and how it interacts with the world around it. Is it just me or doe trees look somewhat like broccoli from above ?

Scene 5 - Mosman Ferry, Port Jackson, Sydney
Capturing a working ferry on Sydney Harbour is one of my regular themes at MTSDrones. I have to confess I am a bit of a sucker for these watercraft. In this sequence I really enjoy the different stages of water dispersion as the boat carefully made its way around the bay.
