Might see you there, good luck
Yo I’ll see you there! Class 5
I went to RTAC out of basic about a year ago. I'm currently on deployment and am trying to come up with a video reference guide for basic knowledge to pass out to the Joes, as most of us are visual learners. The OPORD boards at RTAC are great, and it would be very helpful for guys about to get Ranger School slots to see what right looks like from the source. If any RI has time and motivation to film an OPORD being done properly, that would be extremely helpful.
We are presently in post-production for a series called "The Creed" which is a full deep-dive into Ranger School, and it will include a full breakdown of the OPORD boards. It will be coming out this fall.
@@LeadersRecon That’s amazing news! I look forward to it and will pass it up to my guys.
Thanks a lot.

Ranger Training Assessment Course. RTAC
What about RTTs
We didn't focus on RTT's with this episode, however we are coming out with a documentary series next year that follows students all the way through RTAC and Ranger School. It will show all of the RTTs. It also includes interviews with the RI's and shows the full experience of the course. It is titled "The Creed," and we plan to release it summer of 2023.
@@LeadersRecon will that be for the upcoming April 2023 class?
@@LeadersRecon I’m in April 2023 class. Y’all gonna film then? That’ll be awesome
That Cpt. is a dirty nasty leg! :)
Are you sure about that? Look closely...he's got a pathfinder badge. And what does that require???!
Jump wings.
@@dougcordova2581 I stand corrected. Good catch!
He is a dirty nasty leg. Shows y’all never went to pathfinder school lmfao. Air assault school is the requirement.
@@dougcordova2581 no it does not, when i attended pathfinder school a large part of the class did not have jump wings, and many were from non airborne units. pathfinder teaches many skills that are useful for non airborne soldiers to know such as helicopter landing zones, sling loads, and the ability to conduct VIRS drops. on my deployment we were a non airborne unit conducting drop zone operations for resupply purposes.
Haha good catch! The good CPT is an airborne infantry company commander right now so he’s airborne every month 😂
Tab does NOT make one a Ranger. The tab is a leadership course. The scroll is a Ranger battle and were real Rangers sit. Anyone can earn a tab, from a cook to a actual member of a combat unit.
Well yea Ranger school is a leadership course which the end results makes you ranger qualified. Yea your right that regiment is were you’re actually considered a true ranger but cooks, drivers and other support MOS’s go to regiment too. Don’t downgrade the school for those wanting to go and earn the Tab
exactly.
Chillax dude. After retirement, the school and scroll don’t mean shit to people.
Ranger regime has cooks too
@@biglennyslastsight8759what’s your point of saying that infantry and cooks both go threw rasp n learn the same skill set
