- John Paul II’s Theology of the Body is most often framed as a catechesis on marriage and sexual love. It is that, but, through his spousal theology, this great mystic saint has given us a lens through which to view the entire Christian mystery, and he’s given us a new language with which to share the age-old truth of the gospel with the modern world. In this session Christopher West follows John Paul II’s, Benedict XVI’s, and Pope Francis’s lead in reframing the gospel as a the only adequate response to the deepest longings of the heart, a longing the Church does not hesitate to call “eros”!

It explains so much about the suffering we've experimented and seen others experiment in this postmodern era. A time in which we are encouraged by intellectuals and media to focus our eros on the wrong places: money, sexuality, beauty, public image... offering everything an everybody to ourselves.

9) You want to start your journey by reading Purana - Be my guest.
10) You just don't like reading Puranas or other books. No problem my dear. Go by Bhakti tradition . ( bhakti- devotion)

This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!
There is a saying in Rigveda , the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell -" Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah"- Let the knowledge come to us from every direction....

Strange how it was pope John Paul 2 papacy' he wrote this theology of the body, especially when the exposure of pedophile priests came out. Double standards,they exalt Mary and no women priests.

Pedophilia is the problem not only in the church. Unfortunately it seems that everyone thinks it is only there. Some cultures promote pedophilia openly and keep habits like marrying 12 years old girls. Where are men ... Pedophilia is possible... different cultures, different beliefs, the same urges.
