We visited five countries this trip and Copenhagen was our favorite. What a gorgeous city, and being able to bike everywhere made SUCH a difference!
For this video I used the Canon 24-105mm f/4 L IS (and that's what most of the videos are filmed with). For the portrait videos it's the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS MkII. For wildlife it's the Canon 500mm L IS f/4.
Ah, good, hope you enjoy them! Drop me a line on facebook (link in the description) if you have any questions.
I dedicated Chapter 10 of Stunning Digital Photography to HDR--link in the description.
Photography rule #1: Photos always look better with boats in them
Greetings from Denmark! Thank you for a very fine and instructive video; one thing I really like about your videos, not being a digital photographer, is that the information you pass on is valid also for analog photographers, and that you do not clutter the message with technical information specific to digital technology.
Sincerely
Hans Christian
Thanks, Jess. The smallest aperture was the anchor shot, at f/16.
Just bought your e-book and am enjoying it immensely. Complete DSLR newbie here, so lots to learn.
I like this vids. They are simple enough for my wife. I have to reminde her this over and again. But watching it us better thanks
Thank you for taking the time to put tuition videos up i plan on taking some seascape sunset pictures but im not sure if i should be on manual focus or auto focus thank you from UK :-)
Tony, you and your wife Chelsea are a blessing. Thank you both for all your insight and hard work to help us enthusiast. Ordering your dslr book, cant wait to delve into it this fine winter with a cup of piping hot coffee. Happy New year 2018
Great videos! Bought the book and discovering heaps .. great stuff, thanks.
You are one of my top 3 photographers on the internet, because you are really good at making it simple and easy to understand. What is the smallest aperture you use for your photo in Nyhavn, Copenhagen? Greetings from Jess Demant, Denmark
Thanks Tony..I have been guilty of the "straight on shot"….changing my perspective now.
Great tip, thanks Tony.
Nice its the town i live in 👍
Thanks for your great videos.
Thanks, Don!
Tony - thanks for all your work getting these videos out to us aspiring photographers. Can I ask you what equipment you use for shooting the videos? Camera, Lens, Editing? - Thanks Scott
Hi, Tony....been checking ur videos and i am beginning to convince that ur book might be of great help. I went to apps store but noticed u got 2 kinds of same title. whats the difference between the two? thanks!
You know it!
I wish you would tell us what lenses you are using when you shoot these fantastic photos
Tony, you're the best online teacher
Thanks, Muff Luvin!
Oh, I usually autofocus, and if it doesn't work properly, then I'll switch to manual focus.
I like this video, totally useful
thanks =)
Oh you have visited my town, nice :D
Copenhagen is gorgeous!
Let me know the next time you are in Copenhagen. My home town :)
Nice
Haha, yeah, and the tour guide kept talking through a loudspeaker. I like to be on location, but there are lots of distractions.
Being in my capital, calls for me to buy your book and I just did. Thank you for the best teaching videos on the net.
Could you maybe make one to guide us in, which lenses to use or that are best to use for portraits, street, night shots, ect.
Do we really need the whole range of lenses or can we keep it to a minimum....thanks again and happy new year to you both.
Henrik
Thanks! If you grabbed my Photography Buying Guide (sdp.io/buybg), you'll see I discuss lenses quite a bit, so that might answer your question best.
Tony Northrup Thanks, didn't get it yet....can't wait to see it.

You're the best :)
