Riley and Denis count down the best plays on Magic Twitch this week and of course, with giant robots, drawing cards for opponents and missing lethal.

I made an order for a one piece romance dawn booster box yesterday. I received my tracking number today to see there was a delivery attempt at Portland Oregon. That is not my location. Is there an issue with my package?

Hey, this content is entertaining… but, new Pretty Deece with Jon Corpora?

Love these but cards like door to nothingness shouldn't even exist, much less be played. Let's not give a platform to people who play like that. I agree with Sheldon and Richard G that no card or cards should just win the game on the spot. In fact, no card should even have the text, "you win" or "your opponents lose" on it anywhere. That goes against the spirit of the game.

I don’t see why alternative win conditions are against the spirit of the game. Why is playing one of those cards so different compared to sinking all of your mana into a massive fireball or having an infinite combo?

@@sentientwaffle535 I play commander only now but I've been playing for decades and have gone through all that stuff. It isn't fun. Maybe the fact you knew I was a commander player just shows how great of a format it is...

@@smegmalasagna A fireball could end a game but by that logic a well placed lightning bolt could do the same if the opponent is low enough. That isn't the issue when I say one spell. What you described is something that would have to be earned. If you can generate enough mana to kill an opponent with a spell like fireball and they can't stop it, you deserve to win. There is nothing earned about a Thassa's Oracle Demonic Consultation combo or something that keeps other people from playing the game. Other people's time and enjoyment matter. Try playing zero stax, less tutors and combos, and you might just have more fun. :)

@@blaze556922I asked you what the difference was between winning with an alternative win condition as opposed to an infinite combo or normal means and the explanation that you gave is that you earn your victory if you have to work for it.
I generally agree with that statement but it does not answer my question.
I believe that what you are ranting about is not a matter of whether you kill an opponent the normal way or with an alternative win condition, but rather just the power that alternative win conditions can hold. Yes Thassa’s Oracle is absurdly powerful but when we talk about a card like Door to Nothingness, doesn’t your statement of “If you can generate enough mana to kill an opponent with a spell like Fireball and they can’t stop it you deserve to win.” apply to it?
