I find it fascinating that it's branded as Disney's Toy Story instead of Disney•Pixar Toy Story here
I saw this in theaters on November 7th for the 25th anniversary event with my grandmother and my aunt maria (which they've seen Toy Story in theaters when it first came out)

If I was chairman of Disney and I saw the critical and financial success of Toy Story, I would have given it a few more re-releases than the one it had back in 2009 when it was in 3-D and as a double feature with Toy Story 2.
The Re-releases would be:
1996 (Holidays)
1997 (Holidays)
1998 (Summer with trailer for A Bug’s Life)
2000 (Summer with Tin Toy playing before it)
2005 (Holidays for the 10th Anniversary)
2009 (3D release and double feature with Toy Story 2) * the only re-release that actually happened
2015 (Holidays for the 20th Anniversary and to tie into the special “Toy Story at 20: To Infinity and Beyond”)
and
2020 (Holidays in honor of the 25th Anniversary. Screw the pandemic. I’d still re-release during last holiday weekend.)

The toys are back in to-- But it's the first movie...
The slogan "The toys are back in town" might work better in the second movie...
That’s what I was thinking. Then again, if you’ve seen the second trailer for the first film, it features Thin Lizzy’s “The Boys Are Back In Town”, so that could be why the teaser poster says “The toys are back in town”.
