  • What's not to love about a chicken with feathered feet, a beard, muffs, and even some extra toes?! This incredibly fun, quirky bird from France known as the Salmon Faverolles is the comedian of the barnyard. You know you want one... or a dozen!
    Comb Style: Single
    Broodiness: Sometimes. Pretty Good Mommas
    Egg Size: Medium to Large
    Egg Color: Light Cream
    Cold Tolerant: Pretty good
    Heat Tolerant: Not too bad
Free Range: Specifically bred for confinement, but they still do okay on the range
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. When you're trying to identify that unidentified chicken breed the pictures from a Google search only go so far... These videos are designed specifically to give you a good long look at specific chicken breeds at different ages to help you identify your mystery chicken (or your neighbors)! Don't forget to subscribe. We add new videos with new breeds all the time. Thanks for watching!

I agree with your wife 🤣🤣. May YAH bless you and your loved ones. Thanks for the video. It is my first time having this breed. It is very hard to find here in the US.

We've only had one rooster come close to maturity, but we lost him about 2 months ago to a predator, but we've got another batch about 1 week old now. I'll let you know what I find out as this group matures.

Sorry, to hear about your rooster. I have 2 females salmon Faverolle chicks and 4 California whites. They are all growing up together.
