MBT just pulled 10 amazing generic cards that can go into any deck...
it's absolutely insane that an argument could be made that Doug should ban like, 3 traps and not a part of MBT's actual engine, I guess limiting the children would be enough, MBT's other decks are pretty mid without the busted backrow.

If he does that he pretty much kills MBTs best deck +5 copies of staples. But even ban torrential, ban judgement, limit 2 kids+ 2 more traps just to take as many staples out of play as possible is shockingly viable as an option.
I just really hope that he bans TT cus it's so ez to fetch and 3 copies is so huge

The Way MBT's backrow is Doug is just never gonna be able to stick a guy who is threatening on board any time he goes second, I think MBT only has two copies of two of the children? if you limit the other two I feel like that's pretty bad, but probably safer to just ban meow like suggested and deal with MBT having a couple of busted staples instead of 1/4 of his deck.
@@imperialphoenix1229 meow mu ban would already cripple prank enough to where limiting kids isn't that necessary. Might be better to go after other generic power cards.

I don't think the video show well enough how the lifelines work, if there is a way to display who have what lifelines for next week that would be great

I knew it wasnt going to make it in but Doug going off on MBT for calling him out on the same deck only to then be pranked with the prank kids was a great moment.

Petition to make a lifeline wherein you can actually swap out 1 UR for a different UR in the pack (Dust it then craft a different one) as long as the UR to be dusted came from the same pack and not just any UR that you got from the pulls.
Edited (it might be costy tho considering 30 dust is needed for 1 UR but you get the idea anyways)

I’m pretty sure one of Doug’s bans next week is Meow-Meow-Mu, I’m just not sure what his other ban is. I think he also gets a couple of limits next week, so I could see him putting Strike to 1. Other than that the bans are going to be very interesting next week, because outside of Savage Dragon, I’m not sure what else Joe bans out of Doug’s pool.

I think the best bans are Meow-Meow-Mu and Solemn Judgement. MBT has 2 of them and they will be in literally every single deck he plays going forward. Banning Meow may get him off of prank kids or hurt the strategy enough that Doug can play through it better. The Battle buttler double raigeki effect will blowout pretty much any limited deck.

The problem with the Salamangreat pack is you want Wolfs and Heatleos as your URs, but the pack just keeps giving you Almirajs. I had the same problem when I was pulling

This is such a small thing, but I would honestly love to see this series move to Bo5. It would absolutely make longer episodes, but I think it could also help show off the decks that you all are creating more! Maybe for next season, or after the midway point, but I just love seeing these different archetypes you all play, and this series is one of the best on CZcams, so maybe I'm just selfish and want more haha. Thanks for everything as always!

I think for the ban lists you should only be able to ban/limit cards used in desks previously played in the past episodes before the ban list. So you just don't get your current deck and any other strategy banned.
100% agreed, as just like in Prog Series, it's god awful when an unban is spun and the loser just gets to reban it instantly next episode, especially if the unban didn't get any action whatsoever. In this case, we know Doug wants to ban Strike & Judgment.
I think that either as a lifeline or a deck of many things or just like an event week of being able to pick any structure deck along with master packs similar to when they had the anniversary bundle could be interesting and not help anyone drastically
Joseph really said Im willing to lose first 5 episodes by going in packs that will give me so many staples that Doug couldnt ban all of them even if he had banning episode every second week

I seriously love this series, but maybe you should consider legacy banning the prank kids link 1.. MBT basically has a hyper consistent deck full of staples, it's a pack that becomes extremely unfair the moment they have access to the link one.

Looking forward to the aftermath of the first banning, hopefully you get some good pulls to rival MBT's ridiculous head start. So many good staples so early!
As a salad main, im very scared for if Dzeeff eventually goes into Salads as i watch him mess up his rokket plays 2 episodes in a row. Also, unfortunately salads are probably the WORST deck to build from packs because it relies SO HEAVILY on you having at least 2 of each of the link monsters so you can summon them with sanctuary. Considering most of them are URs, your dead unless you pull roughly 6 URs that are exclusively from the pack and are split as 2 sunlight wolf, 2 heatleo, and 2 pyro phoenix. Otherwise, salad cant really make good use of link climbing without re-summons.

Alright, placing my bets on the bans and limits next week: Meow-Mu and Solemn Judgment are going to be *gone*, as will Borreload Savage. It wouldn't surprise me if MBT's second ban was Omega, just based on how much of his removal is centered in backrow. As for limits, I'm betting on Torrential on Doug's side, and Quick Launch on MBT's.

Shade Brig is good even in decks that play a lot of Traps because at worst it’s a free 4 that you have to wait a turn for. Obviously it’s a problem in a top deck war but nothing’s perfect
