Cause right now his win con is “CORNER RAH” and holy hell does he achieve that. So if they nerfed that or even made the stages bigger that would be awesome.
They made this buff look way cooler than it actually is. It only seems to work off of OD dragon lash from target combo, not from H jinrai. So essentially you're spending 2 bars to do 150 more damage than the meterless run DL into H DP.
I hope run DP gets to be a better anti-projectile option, particularly to deal with Akuma air fireball. I was thinking about this matchup, and the only reason why it was OK for me in SFV was VT2
I think this is actual a nerf . No more sideswitch with meterless dragonlash and Dp. Now it can be executed only with 2 bars OD dragonlash nad run Dp. Iam also afraid that his target combo can be executed only if his crouching Lp is a counter hit . Watch the move is slow motion . The flash at the execution of crouching Lp indicates a counter hit
It's possible, we'll find out more next week. Run Dragonlash staying same sides may look strange give the way it looks in juggle situations. Id surprised to find out CR LP doesn't link naturally into Stand MP too Some significant nerfs if this turns out to be true
@olimphus26 wrong....its confirming a hit is purely on you the player....now whatever you trying to do afterwards depends on the game...i.e. if they made the follow up move linkable or able to combo. But confirming a hit is all on you chief
Hey bigkabuto, I've been playing a lot more recently. I've got better at the game but I'm still not very good at "Drive Fighter 6". My main issue is that feeling of being forced to do drive related stuff. Mainly DI and raw DR mind games in neutral Do you play much?

I try to. I was like you struggling in the beginning dropping down to 1300 MR but I've been playing more also and I'm able to maintain around mid 1500s. I progress pretty slowly but I'll keep at it. Slow and steady I guess. I hear you on the Drive mechanics. So many options man!
I felt this is a nerf to non-run dp combo, but buff to run dp combo. You get more damage for using run in your combo, but not so much if you are lazy to utilize run
i wonder what the benefit would be to runDP after OD dragonlash? a tiny bit more carry? doesn't do more damage unless its been buffed edit: might be easier to dp through fireballs now!

I think he cant side switch without using two bars now. That’s why they show his new way to side swtich

sf6 is not designed towards confirmable cr mk, no character has a confirmable cr mk. So nope, not gonna happen

That depends on you. "Hit confirmable" is not a mechanic in the game...now if cr mk is actually LINKABLE....thats a different story

Probably more damage for sure, may be more optimal to go into level 3 this way too
