right around 1:02 you can see the puck inside the webbing of the glove crossing the line, everyone wondering what angle they used to determine
the entire glove went over the line, easy call
Can’t see the puck in the glove no evidence it crossed the line typical Edmonton refs
Friedman’s got a still frame of the puck inside the webbing completely crossing the goal line.
@@460callofdutyyou can’t actually hold the puck well with the padding part of the glove, it has to be in the webbing. It was always gonna count.
@@460callofdutywell since the only places in the glove the puck can hide from the camera, all co.pletely crossed the goal line plenty far enough... i mean plus there actually is clear visual evidence it fully crossed the line... refs didnt even make the call, that was done at league office in Toronto u moron
exactly!!! it's not rocket science.
PUCK INSIDE GLOVE.... GLOVE FULLY INSIDE NET...... THERFORE PUCK INSIDE NET.
draisaitl celebrated before the ref even looked at it it was so obvious
Yeah, that's a goal. Definitive? I dunno but I am pretty sure everyone knew that puck crossed the line. The guys up in the review booth in TO. must've found an angle.
@@v_1d10_t Yeah I mean, as the commentators said that where the puck landed in the glove clearly shows it over the line so that was my judgement. But hey, I'm no professional lol.
Friedman showed a still frame of the puck inside the webbing completely crossing the line.
They also have video angles that aren’t shared with the general public
of course definitely..... whatvis there to argue about. the WHOLE ENTIRE glove is INSIDE the goal.....
@@YZER19 You realize that the glove doesn't = the puck, right? lol I know what you're saying but that argument is idiotic :P "That's a goal because his GLOVE crossed the line" would never stand up.
Definitely a goal.... the only weird part is I've seen about 4 other Goals exactly like this where we KNOW the puck is in, but the goal is not allowed?? Why, because it's in the glove and the puck isn't visible.
I have no problem with this goal, just wish they were WAY more consistent with this call.
The camera at ice level showed his glove go back across the line into the net. And because it's a white glove they could clear see it enter the glove and hit the back of the webbing in the net.
If they couldn't see it, it would be a no goal like half of them.
Commentators said after this every goalie is going to run out and get black webbing. Lol
@@TH-tl6sy If I were the NHL I'd just ban any color of webbing other than white for this exact reason though
what a great catch though
Still, nice save, almost...😊😊😊
Goal line technology works perfectly in soccer,i dont see why not testing it in hockey.
Yeah, with the white webbing you can clearly see the puck over the goalline at 1:19. With Black webbing maybe this gets called as a save
It's a, bad day for a, white webbing
Goalies should have to use white webbing.
nonsense. even with a baseball glove this is a clear goal. its basic understanding of how physics work. puck inside the glove.... ove fully inside the net including parts of the forearm...... so luck is definitely behind the goal line..... it's not rocket science people
@@sauceking3344 I see what you did there
Can we take a minute to talk about that amazing passing play?
Belted down the Kings again , Drew’s eyes said everything in press conference previous
Given the trend in the playoffs so far, I’m surprised they didn’t disallow it for goaltender interference by Hyman’s skate.
0:14 his expressions like "Crap it was in...please pretty please don't count"
I say the Steve Dangle idea of if the save looks cool the goal shouldn't count should go in here lol
😂 I wouldn't be mad if that were the rule, called consistently.
If that's Vegas' goalie making a save, no-goal. Glad they got the right call though. Hard to see but pretty sure it went in.
Vegas has nothing to do with this
unless the puck went through his glove and into his forearm, i don't see this as arguable at all lol
You obviously didn't watch the game. They showed the angle clearly where the glove is in the net, then you see the puck enter the white webbing of the pocket after.
@@TH-tl6syhe says even without seeing the puck the way gloves work all parts where the puck could have been in the glove crossed the line
Kings just not there yet, might half to consider getting rid of some of the old guys and getting younger talent in and building around by field Moore immo. Just clearly not deep enough but have potential. Licky they were even in the first round.
Easily over the line!
Oilers power play, one word, …….deadly
Oil three years in a row, more if you include Robitaille,Taylor Tiger and that coach Perry
Bang
Come on people , the entire sucked off glove was inside the net with the god damn puck inside of it. It’s not rocket science here. Even if the glove webbing was black it would have counted.
If he didnt glove it, it would of hit far post im almost positive, look at the angle its very close. Also hockey goalies making over exaggerated glove saves flairing there arm in the air after catching the puck isnt good to do, dude did it laying down.
Far post??? No it was going middle of the net or his glove wouldnt have taken him into the close side of the net. U have no concept of physics or angles at all, or u need glasses
@@dudelove69 slow it down and use a straight edge ruler if you have to, it was going damn close to the post dude. Middle of the net lmfao. Watch where it is right before it goes into the goalies glove. And yeah it would have taken him there its called cutting off the angle lmfaoo.
@@profo4544 it didnt enter his glove till it was already fully across the line u blind donut. Where it contacted his glove was where it entered the net, nowhere close to the far post, i seriously suggest u go get your eyes checked
Don't spoil in the title my dudes
If you didn't watch that's on you
@@dcalliou7 William Wallace dies in the end of brave-heart, jokes on you
I mean the puck probably went in the net, but I would like to see the angle that let them know it went in.
The glove crossed the line with the puck in it.
They showed one during the second intermission
They showed it in intermission he reaches back across the line then you see the puck hit the webbing he caught the puck inside the net then swept it out.
Could see puck in back of pocket in the ice level view and then if you match time in game with overhead it's well over line would be conclusive if you zoom in and seeing sitting there
It's the thumbnail... clearly shows the puck over the line.
Does Edmonton ever score 5 on 5? It always seems to be on the power play lol.
the kings cant even score on a powerplay
They scored 3 5v5
2 of their 4 goals have been 5 on 5 sooo half the time lol
Someone is mad his team cannot score on pp. Sounds like Leafs fan
no
Мазут за уши тянут в финал
Так вся перчатка была за линией) чистый гол
you have to see the puck. unless the entire glove goes in the net.
You can see the puck is clearly over the line at the 1 minute mark
Both are true. Easy goal call here
Video review?? Even a 5 year old could tell that was in.
No goal
This comment is why the people who got the call CORRECT work for the NHL and you comment on CZcams videos...
Coilers winning the series by a gifted power play goal .... surprise, surprise.
Mad because bad.
The better team won, lmao
The Oilers were ahead 3-1 in games. They didn't need some mysterious conspiracy to win the series. It was inevitable at this point even if this goal had been disallowed.
@@adamndirtyape Just look at all the four COILERS wins in the series, they were all won by PowerPlay goals, without those Power Play goals the score would have been at most tied. Just wait till the 2nd round when the crooked zebras are no longer able to spoon feed you powerplays. It'll be a repeat of last year when your local media wrote the headline "No Powerplay, No Chance"
@@randytheramrobinson2304 You really need to stop listening to conspiracy theories bud. Seriously.
Flames fans we are off to round 2 what ya thinking about that?😊
In before bitter Kings and jealous Leafs fans try to defy what the video shows.
the flop by Draisaitl to get the pp, was impressive.
He doesnt flop... he was knocked over by a strong man. Leon was also off balance a bit... definitely a bad call... kings had many of those early in the series go their way but because the oilers are a better team, kings couldnt score and also when oiler got their pps they scored... u so dumb
That’s a good Goal?
If the glove goes over the line with the puck in it, it's a goal.
whats interesting is, it probably would of hit far post if he didnt glove it. The angle is very close
@@matthewmaning4859you’re so stupid there’s no evidence or rule they clearly didn’t see it
REAL fans, take note MAPLE LAUGHS.
Puck in the glove, dead puck
The glove was all the way in the net.
Wow you obviously know nothing about hockey. 😂😂😂😂 It doesn't matter if the goalie has possession of the puck or not. If the whistle has not blown and the puck crosses the line it's a goal. His entire glove was over the line and the puck was in the glove. It's a goal.
The puck crossed the line before going into the glove but nice try there
@@RoughRaiders13you don’t know anything about hockey stupid raiders fan it’s a dead puck clearly they didn’t see the puck crossed the goal line when it was in the glove clearly a no goal typical refs
@@Mattoilers97hey stupid mat do you have a camera to see? No you stupid
either stop all reviews or review every call and penalty this is getting dumb dumb
Do you mean that literally every goal should be reviewed when for the vast majority of them it is blindingly obvious when the puck goes in? So an empty net goal would need a review? Reviews are only needed when there is a possibility that the real result was unclear to the on-ice officials to make sure the call is fair. The system works well.
I used to be a Major Junior level referee and before that, a goalie, and I can tell you that this goal was the right call. Every part of the trapper that could hold the puck was over the line. Only the cuff wasn't. It was a goal, end of story.
Typical Edmonton refs called a goal when there’s no evidence it crossed the line
It’s Toronto that makes the call and can show angles the tv isn’t shown moron. Cry more since your Flames sucked ass this year like the year before
There are no Edmonton refs and toronto made the call and always does u casual moron who knows nothing about anything
Oil all the way baby
