Question regarding Garmin Tread. Does your wifi drop when screen times out after 30 minutes? Then you need to restart wifi again manually. I have been downloading satellite images and takes forever as wifi drops. Garmin is sending me a free USB charger to try. Which won't matter.... Probably need to replace my unit.
Gidday Matt, to be honest I don’t have it set up for that (my version is the OVERLAND) and I already have a CB in the truck, but, it’s awesome that they have it as an option. As I say in a few of the videos on this unit upcoming, the great thing about the Garmin range now is the options they have for individual uses, what I have suits my use case but if someone needed the radio it is awesome to have it in the one unit as well as having the inreach. Group ride is a great feature

Hey mate iv just received my garman overlander just updated it now my keyboard is going spaz at me won’t let me type anything and it’s going super slow when I touch the screen am I doing anything wrong
All I want to know is if either of these devices can show federal land maps (BLM, national parks) and free campsites from iOverlander WITHOUT any subscriptions. That’s the only features I care about.
Well you can pinch or use the plus or minus button on the left there is no specific way that you have to do it. I guess it's a matter of preference on how fast they work. Most of us are used to mobile phones that work very fast, so if you compare them to mobile phones then yes they are slower

hi there, no I have not had that problem but I do tend to update at home when plugged in to the PC
How can i get my overlander to charge the battery..it only last a few mimutes? 10:07
it needs to be charged via 12 volt, I have mine plugged into the cig port on the truck
What’s your thoughts on running the tread with the built in radio in a suv or overlanding rig for comms am keeping track of people in your group

Hi Scott, hope you got it fixed? Try rebooting, is it going slow when connected via usb? There are a hundred factors that I would need to know to help

Hey when you have it on the off road map can you make to info down the bottom disappear so you can see the full screen like the street view

yes they can be at times, especially if they are in the sun
