Hi there, we use a Benzocaine/Lidocaine/Tetracaine (BLT) 20%/7%/6% topical cream. 😄
Asia Hankins RN I’ve had limited comfort-providing success with BLT. Do you use a barrier for deeper BLT penetration ? How long is BLT application (40 minutes)? Is the topical applied at the office, or is the client applying it preemptively? Your technique is wonderfully conservative providing a natural enhancement
The BLT is a prescription strength applied in the office and it only stays on for about 5 minutes. With the lidocaine that’s in the dermal filler syringes, it is plenty of numbing. It is important to consider lodicaine toxicity and the potential side effects from leaving it on too long or using too much. Lidocaine toxicity can be deadly. Hi Ann, dermal fillers range from $600-$800 per syringe. They can add up quickly so it’s important to get the right filler, right amount, in the right areas. You can get a good idea of cost by going to the about section of my videos where I list the products and amounts used.
