If you had two lightweight poles with a v on the end, you can both put the curtains up without fear of falling off the step ladders.because you won't need them..

Hi Rick and Shelley , I hope you both keep doing these Vlogs, they are Entertaining and Funny, it’s hard work in that Heat, Curtains are looking Good, I’m no good at drilling etc , don’t let Shelley see the Comments moving the pole higher🤔😂😂 I’m not looking forward next week to doing Power hosing front and back, something will go wrong , keep these coming , I suppose it would be boring if everything you did went okay , no it wouldn’t ! 😂😂 your getting there though. About the curtain rail:
when putting on or taking off curtains it’s easier to pull the rail from the middle until the pole comes apart, take off or put on the curtains then put the pole back together in the middle instead of taking the end of the pole off and screwing it back in.

Rick the plant that is not well is a bromeliad. They die back after flower I'm afraid. So not really sodas a plant that will go on for years I'm afraid. Nothing you can do will change it, sorry 😢

Loving your vlogs, I am no botanist, but...... once you have a plant indoor or outdoor,(climate permitting) never move them, they like being where they are placed, dont over water, we always kill them with too much care, I maybe wrong

Possibly Not enough light Alli. In a shelf but not in sunlight.
@RickandShelley doesn't need direct sunlight but as it's variegated it prefers to have good light. Maybe it's not benefitting from window light? Maybe shelf is to high ? Hope this helps x
