Been following this tank for quite a while now, and even tho the videos are few and far in between, this tank and you Mark alone have inspired me to setting up my own reef tank which now has its first coral in (GSP). Thank you Mark!

With your help i have started spawning, and am raising 35 CPD. If you have glowlight tetras could you please do a spawning video on them or suggest which tetra you have already done would have the closest set up and parameters to do glowlight. Thank you again!
hi, I'm new to fish keeping, and having my first bettas - started watching your videos and listening to your advices how to keep and breed them, and I'm still watching all your videos every day because its so cozy to listen to you :) you motivate me to keep working on my aquariums! I also tried to pair my male bettas with my females, but it always failed, they dont really want to work together, so I stopped trying for their safety. any ideas? anyways, hope you doing well and keep it up~

@@MARKSAQUATICS oh man that's a real shame, we know the feeling though and are considering the future, hopefully this all gets sorted out sooner than later but I think the resurgence the hobby got from the pandemic has been flipped the opposite way! Feel for the Local fish shop owners, must be more stressful than the pandemic IMO! Good luck Mark, hope things turn around for all our sakes soon :)
@@MARKSAQUATICS maybe you could focus on subtropical and cold water species for a while? I'd love to see videos on that subject and without the heaters the electricity bills will be much lower. I've switched my tropical tank to a subtropical tank (no heater) and there's actually quite a few fish that work in such a set up, minnows, barbs and danios mostly but there's a few other fish from other groups that prefer lower temps.

Mark been missing you videos. Did the clown fish babies hatch out from the last video the parents had laid eggs back in the cave? It spring time will you be setting up a tidal pool aquarium like you did last year? Liked the videos foraging for that aquarium. Hope you do it again this summer. Maybe you might be attempt to grow out some baby gobies again.
It's now 7 months since the last video upload without a word as to why. Does anybody know why Mark stopped uploading? I hope he's OK. If anybody knows why he's no longer making these videos could you please lt us know; seems like I'm not the only one worried about him. Its been 14 months now, hasnt replied to a single comment in 14 months.. mark wouldnt have stopped replying and showing us his stuff because he shut down most his tanks due to electricity prices, he would have kept a few atleast and showed us them, and he would still be answering our questions.. I think you should have realised 14 months ago, but mark passed away 14 months ago..

Beachcombing too....... BRILLIANT. Spent most my childhood in the Channel between Barrow-in-furness and Walney Island. Catching Butterfish and gobys. Crabs and anenomes always fascinated me. Can I ask please. Did you have to chill the Welsh local aquarium ??

Out of interest how are you coping with the energy price increases in the UK and are you worried about the winter coming up?
It's crazy! I've had to shut down most of my aquariums that's why I've not been posting as much.

Mark replied to a comment below, 6 months ago saying that with the price of electricity he had to shut down a lot of tanks sadly.

Yes I ran a chiller on it as the seaweed didn't like the warmer water.
