West Papuan Community Celebrates 57th Proclamation of Independence

The West Papuan Community in Port Moresby celebrated their 57th Proclamation of Independence by raising the MORNING STAR at Ela beach yesterday.
The fight for freedom and independence for the native West Papuan’s against the Indonesia has been a call recognised by other Melanesian Countries.
The flag rising in Port Moresby again brings to light the struggle for freedom for our closest neighbour.
