I’m kind of feeling that because of all the hate (especially with the eco lifestyle trailers) and the upcoming paralives game is probably getting to them to start stepping up... I mean paralives is going to have pets (cats and dogs only) and weather in the base game itself.

LAngel2 they could make an expansion that is a countryside pack that comes with horses that work like bicycles and improved gardening with machines along with country styled build objects and sim clothing, hair and items. Then the map would be a village that is inside a forest type location with alot of fields and barns. A county police station could be added and you can apply there to take down buglers, have burglars come to your house at night on rare occasions and either fight them off or call the police, or become a burglar and automatically gain the kleptomaniac trait and it would add more to the criminal aspersion so you can either steal from a house or plan a heist with other sims and steal gems 💎. This would be a cool way to add burglars along with horses and maybe even reptiles like snakes lizards and the chances of going outdoors on the hike trails and getting bitten. And to add a special touch, if a sim becomes famous for his heists and robbery’s protests could happen because the police aren’t doing a good enough job at stopping the sim so the heists and robbery’s would progressively get harder and harder.

I started playing sims 3 when sims 4 first came out and tbh the thing I dislike the most abt the sims 4 is the lack of detail and in depth gameplay like there were so much more defining traits to sims in sims 3 and not to mention everything was a lot cheaper
I keep repeating again and again: Sims 4 basegame gameplay is BLAND, doesn't matter how many add ons we get, it will stay boring if they don't fix the main issues. I mean even if we were bound to a lot in Sims 2, the gameplay was soo great that I didn't mind. In Sims 3 I felt that I was part of a town which was independent. Sims 4 feels like a glass ball with nothing to do in it. Also firefighters popping out of nowhere and disappearing again (like all the sims) is kind of lame af for me... I remember the time when we where complaining about rabbit holes lol damn if only we knew...
About the fire fighters just popping up, instead of coming in a car or something, is because of two reasons: 1. A lot of places in TS4 don’t have roads, for example the island in Windenburg 2. A SimGuru (don’t remember who, sorry) said that they looked at the fire fighters in all the previous games and set for something most like the ones in TS1, mostly because they didn’t want to have fire engines (“fire cars”).
The Sims 3 Open world just makes the experience feel so organic. Since then, My storylines have started to be more carefree and my sims weren't quarantined 24/7 inside of their own houses because i'm scared of loading screens lmao. It just feels... organic, y'know
EA gave us most of what we wanted now they only should fix some other stuff and add cars and make it open world and the sims 4 would be great but u haters are never happy for what u have.

What's the point of fire fighters if you can extinguish fires easily... they should make fire extinguishers as objects and without them you cant put out fires unless you call the fire department
all other sims games you could put out the fire yourself but it’s just nicer having the firefighters because sometimes your sims just love standing and screaming at the fire instead of doing something
Most of the time my sims that catch on fire die because either the other sims just screaming beside the fire or get out from the house...so maybe firefighters do necessary
every time they add something really good for free I am so happy and then immediately get so annoyed because the game is still missing SO MUCH that the previous base games had. *all these moodlets and boosters and freaking ridiculous - family member died? you'll cry a bit for a day, but go for a jog or take a bath and you'll be just fine! *sims have close to no personalities *there are no memories! etc.

The Sims are afraid of Paralive since it's their first competitors and Rival since TS4 first released. Even before PL was released, it have gotten many many attention especially from The Sims community. This parallel The Sims City and City Skyline where TSC was _okay_ but not good enough until CS was announced. In which, TSC suddenly get a lot of big update and patches only to be outshined by CS. At least TSC is considerably better since then.

My country doesn't use Canadian or American dollars but I'm planning on supporting paralives on patreon after the pandemic even if it's a little expensive. There's just something about knowing you're helping create a game from an indie company with tons of potential to be the next best life simulator. I'm a big sucker for life sim games but I haven't played sims in years, paralives makes me so excited about gaming again.

There was a fire in my sims house and I called the fire department and the firefighter was just standing doing nothing. Then one of my sim’s kids went to the fire and decided to stand it it so she almost burnt to death but luckily her mom extinguished her. Then the mom tried to put out the fire but then she caught on fire so she had to extinguish herself. And the firefighter was just watching it all happen. And it took forever to get the fire out because it was so big. And once I put the fire out, I saw the notification wall... and the fire fighter said. “The Fire is our now. Try to be careful next time.” Like wth?!

I’m glad the sims 4 update team is still keeping the patch notes tradition alive and well! I want to just read them all because of the personality they put into it, and a good chunk of it’s pretty funny!
I really think they'd benefit from adding a few new features to the game. For example; - custom wardrobes instead of like 3 basic choices. If we could create units like we can with the counters, I feel like that would enhance the game a lot. - bring back diving boards - glass walls and floors/ceilings in the base game - better colour selections on beds, furniture in general. I hate that you have like 10 choices, but the colours are always awful. It'd be so much better if we could select the frame colour, then select which pattern and custom colours - better stair customisation, possible spiral staircase, ability to draw handrails instead of them being automatically placed - plants that you can actually place on shelves - more shelves and custom shelving - bring back the sunken hot tub - a wall mounted shower. Tying in with the glass walls, giving us the ability to create shower rooms and modern bathrooms without the restrictive shower units *Additional edits* - custom sofas. Same with how counters work, we can create custom sofa units, for example being able to create corner sofas or even being able to create rounded sofas (I personally would *love* this) - bidets (I know you can upgrade but it doesn't add anything to the game) - whilst we're on toilets; urinals and troughs. These would give the game a more real feel, especially in commercial buildings - bring back game consoles I have so many more that I can't think of, but that's off the top of my head. The custom wardrobes is something I wish they would do. It would make for some amazing builds. Feel free to share ideas, I'm curious to see how others feel about these ideas
I feel like everybody who plays the sims should subscribe to you. The fire ended 2 minutes ago, the firemen arrive. I felt bad so I gave a fireman a gift so we can hangout some other time. Because they went all that way and came to nothing. I only managed to give one a gift. LOL And can you please do a tutorial on how to do that bunk bed?
Additional note on Firefighters. If you have the Fire Prevention System Utility Panel, which activates sprinklers in the event of a fire, as well as the Alertz Smoke Alarm, the Firefighters won't get upset if they show up to no fire provided there was an actual fire and the sprinklers simply put it out before they got there.
6:05 Finally, this feature came back. It’s been 20 years since clicking on the amount of money in The Sims 1 was able to take a look at 3 days of incomes and outcomes. The feature was also on the PlayStation version as well, but in both, I think The Sims 1's pop-up window looked a little better and showed everything perhaps a little clearer than what it does in The Sims 4 that I can see on this video.
There's a fun thing about the Vampires expansion pack and the ladders. If you have ladders at a high or low point of a house and a toddler is up there (you can have stairs, but they take up a lot of room), they obviously can't go down. Buuuut if you have a vampire with a teleportation skill, your vampire sim will hold the toddler and you guys teleport together!
Sims 2 is still better I just hope that EA decide to create a Sims game that's a mix between 2&3 since 2 was more realistic and 3 was more expansive Sims 4 has take 4 steps back in my opinion...

@Artoria Pendragon that doesn't work all the time, even when you tell the sim to stop and put out the fire, they'll immediately start screaming again.

Out of all the foods EA could’ve matched for the Forager’s Delight moodlet, they had to choose an eggplant and a peach. That was NOT a coincidence.

All the recent 'community surveys', updates and packs that they suddenly started doing when everyone started getting hyped over Paralives 😂 coincidence I think not
My sims have this weird glitch where every time they use the toilet, fire appears under their butt and you can see it in the level below...
so it is glitch then? i thought it was because of all the spicy food they ate lol... weird indeed, at first i thought the toilet was on fire (and i had 2 fire accidents before that)

The Sims are afraid of Paralive since it's their first competitors and Rival since TS4 first released.
Even before PL was released, it have gotten many many attention especially from The Sims community.
This parallel The Sims City and City Skyline where TSC was _okay_ but not good enough until CS was announced. In which, TSC suddenly get a lot of big update and patches only to be outshined by CS. At least TSC is considerably better since then.
Well if sims doesn't fix the main problems paralives will win this competition for me

My country doesn't use Canadian or American dollars but I'm planning on supporting paralives on patreon after the pandemic even if it's a little expensive. There's just something about knowing you're helping create a game from an indie company with tons of potential to be the next best life simulator. I'm a big sucker for life sim games but I haven't played sims in years, paralives makes me so excited about gaming again.

Well, updates take a long time to make. I’m sure they didn’t plan it to be like that. Plus, the update was delayed because of #BLM
Bro sims will always be and still the better franchise from sims 1 to 4, not some shitty ass looking game based of sims gonna take that huge attention, just wait if EA or maxis or whatever it is release something like modern relationships, better babies, conséquences, and something exactly like this update and paralives is done.

K C That’s not what I said. I never said this specific update took 6 years to make. Yes, it took six years to implement it, but the update itself could have taken months to make. Them dropping the update now wasn’t done to coincide with Paralives, which is what I said in my comment.

Yes we do. 😂😂😂 I had to turn off CC for townies in sims 4 studio. I would spend half of my time giving them makeovers. I don't have to anymore now.

There was a fire in my sims house and I called the fire department and the firefighter was just standing doing nothing. Then one of my sim’s kids went to the fire and decided to stand it it so she almost burnt to death but luckily her mom extinguished her. Then the mom tried to put out the fire but then she caught on fire so she had to extinguish herself. And the firefighter was just watching it all happen. And it took forever to get the fire out because it was so big. And once I put the fire out, I saw the notification wall... and the fire fighter said. “The Fire is our now. Try to be careful next time.” Like wth?!

I remember the first time I played the sims 4. My sim started a fire and I tried to call the fire department, but guess what… there was none!

I really think they'd benefit from adding a few new features to the game. For example;
- custom wardrobes instead of like 3 basic choices. If we could create units like we can with the counters, I feel like that would enhance the game a lot.
- bring back diving boards
- glass walls and floors/ceilings in the base game
- better colour selections on beds, furniture in general. I hate that you have like 10 choices, but the colours are always awful. It'd be so much better if we could select the frame colour, then select which pattern and custom colours
- better stair customisation, possible spiral staircase, ability to draw handrails instead of them being automatically placed
- plants that you can actually place on shelves
- more shelves and custom shelving
- bring back the sunken hot tub
- a wall mounted shower. Tying in with the glass walls, giving us the ability to create shower rooms and modern bathrooms without the restrictive shower units
*Additional edits*
- custom sofas. Same with how counters work, we can create custom sofa units, for example being able to create corner sofas or even being able to create rounded sofas (I personally would *love* this)
- bidets (I know you can upgrade but it doesn't add anything to the game)
- whilst we're on toilets; urinals and troughs. These would give the game a more real feel, especially in commercial buildings
- bring back game consoles
I have so many more that I can't think of, but that's off the top of my head. The custom wardrobes is something I wish they would do. It would make for some amazing builds. Feel free to share ideas, I'm curious to see how others feel about these ideas

The fire ended 2 minutes ago, the firemen arrive. I felt bad so I gave a fireman a gift so we can hangout some other time. Because they went all that way and came to nothing. I only managed to give one a gift. LOL

Additional note on Firefighters. If you have the Fire Prevention System Utility Panel, which activates sprinklers in the event of a fire, as well as the Alertz Smoke Alarm, the Firefighters won't get upset if they show up to no fire provided there was an actual fire and the sprinklers simply put it out before they got there.

6:05 Finally, this feature came back. It’s been 20 years since clicking on the amount of money in The Sims 1 was able to take a look at 3 days of incomes and outcomes. The feature was also on the PlayStation version as well, but in both, I think The Sims 1's pop-up window looked a little better and showed everything perhaps a little clearer than what it does in The Sims 4 that I can see on this video.

There's a fun thing about the Vampires expansion pack and the ladders. If you have ladders at a high or low point of a house and a toddler is up there (you can have stairs, but they take up a lot of room), they obviously can't go down. Buuuut if you have a vampire with a teleportation skill, your vampire sim will hold the toddler and you guys teleport together!
Now I can actually try to remember the neighborhood names for the older world's

Sims 2 is still better I just hope that EA decide to create a Sims game that's a mix between 2&3 since 2 was more realistic and 3 was more expansive Sims 4 has take 4 steps back in my opinion...
