Looks just like the steel mill I worked at. The accumalators, the bridle rolls, the dip pot, the welding of splices, everything.
Btw- their maintenance pays really, really good. Like in the mid to high 40s depending on your experience. Making $48 an hour in industrial maintenance is literally unheard of, unless you work for the state, county, city, or a union.
For a private company, thats damn impressive. Even the steel mills dont pay this well.

I'm just finishing up a DIY project on my home using Timberline. It's a dynamite product.
I'm a roofer and we use GAF Timberline occasionally. its not our go to shingle but its still a good quality shingle. I've always wondered how shingles were made. now I know

+brandon612 yep. we use Owens corning pretty much all the time. I'd say 90% of the time. then the other 10% either GAF or Certainteed

Just signed up a customer for a new GAF Timberline roof, he worked with Owens Corning for 15 years.

thanks for upload , I can now breath ok knowing how this product is made and understand the cost of roofing that can last over 25 years ( depending of quality )
13antoanto my personal favorite is Owens Corning the pink roofing material I hate Tamko the adhesive is poor quality and over the shingles become loose and are vulnerable to high winds

OWENS CORNING shingles are much better. I worked at the Summit Ill plant and we did more quality checks than to just look for color variations..
Every month we purchased shingle bundles from other nanufacturers such as IKO , GAF and others and we measured the quality against each other were OWENS shingles were better.
I left the OWENS plant since 1995 to work at Ameritech Telecomm.
Came back to Mexico in 2002.

I have done so many warranty claims on GAF Timberline Shingles through the 1980’s and 1990’s .
I would not install GAF Timberline Shingles on my home or any of my customers homes .
Certainteed Landmark And Landmark Pro are the best .

Tamko shingles will develop small cracks and granular loss after year 15 .
That used to be the old Elk plant. Was a much better product then. Gaf is garbage. Quality control every hour😂😂😂😂 you know how much product is made in an hour.
I use gaf timberline shingles in canada (ontario). That first broadcaster has a terrible tv voice. Too many cigarettes
