She's learned to drop some vocal weight especislly as she ascends yet still maintain the richness of her voice 🤩
I noticed that, too. She had a lot of depth and ... to use a word ... bigness in her lower register back then, but she's learned how to lessen that.
Sometimes I wish I could have more of a presence in my lower register, but I don't know how. I love seeing her sing and share her music with others. :)

So good! I'm glad she's learned to reduce some of the big sound she has in her lower register. It's very good, but it's a bit heavy, and I'm just observing that she's changed, improved, learned to balance, and i love that. I love seeing her then, and now. Can't wait to see her in concert!
Now if I could just understand the interview... I caught a few words. "I am called Faouzia" and then something about snow. Later, something about music and school, something "in your house" I think? lol. I need to get my mom to interpret this for me!

That's not quebecois, you understand it very well, you need to hear people talking Canadian in the street not on TV
@Anis Berhil I agree with you, i only learned French at school, and never talked to Canadiens or people from Québec, so i understood what they're saying, it's just that a person who learned French at school can't understand Canadian French as clearly as a native speaker can do. Actually, there is a huge difference between Faouzia's accent and the interviewer's accent, Faouzia's French is easy to understand as she talks slowly and clearly, but the interviewer is actually speaking quickly 🤷🏻♀️

I think this is my future wife ! An Arab Canadian that speaks three different languages. I am sure we lived the same type of experiences in Canada and faced the same challenges. Has a very open,colorful and honest personality. Love it !
