Among this batch, I acually want baby Emmeryn the most. Love her warping capabilities. I don't know how good Duo Robin is (her weapon is confusing), but I really love A/S Link 4. Extra stat, Canto(1), and scaling extra damage is amazing. I want to get this skill in fallen Chrom's skill repository.
18:50 child units always have a prf weapon, doesnt matter if 4 star or tt unit, they always give child units prf weapons, its been like that since the first child banner i think.

Baby Robin, is basically what Modern Male Morgan would look like with that kit. Also, kinda hilarious how we Brave Robin had Physical Gambit, now the mages can get it on that DR. (Please have similar restrictions, my flyer mages are starving out here). Tip the Scales returning is great if you somehow didn't have Brave Robin by now, or just run the two together, and have 2 separate super warping Heroes!
Baby Emmeryn, our beloved exalt, is beyond adorable! Magic Shield looks like a interesting new support for healers. Really interesting how she has her own version of Time's Gate, or Gullveig/Kvasir's special effect, but through her either healing or attacking, or just being a Reverse WoM. I think she might be one of the rarest cases to use a Push 4 on, if only to create a sudden ambush team.
Little Lisa and her Tinkatuff-sized Axe is exactly what I imagined if she was going to be on this banner. Kinda interesting that she's demoting D/R Finish, my bet is its gonna be the 4 star, with time's pulse being the 5 star there. Basically hits like truck, can tank attacks, and even heals, which is not bad. I think like the last Grail kid (cant remember the name, but he also had an interesting War Axe), she's gonna find a place for like the month at best. I'd still build her up for a bit, though.
Duo Female Robin and Chrom is definitely the sideline I wasn't expecting, surprisingly. I figured Chrom would be here, but kinda swapped the place between him and Male Robin at least. Not gonna complain, cause this pairing was kinda overdue since the Valentine pairing. Hush Spectrum. This, this is how we creep closer and closer to like an AoE meta, cause I didn't think we'd be making scowl essentially a status that's gonna be annoying to be around. Then again, with how Winter 3Houses have made it an unavoidable problem, maybe it's for the better? Oh yeah, Link 4, woo, now the Chrome's and Lucina's get to have even more fun with their Future Visions and Changing Fates. Duo Skill giving the 2 best buffs to all allies is just the icing on how chaotic the next while is gonna be with them running around.
Young Frederick is probably the greatest shocker for me here, cause I felt like if we were gonna get the Vaike anytime soon, bring the young Teach would have made a great Grail Hero for Awakening fans to +10, but oh well. I still love Frederick. Younging get pref War Weapons, so I don't expect him to be any different.

Legendary Chrom will now patiently waiting until we get Spd/Res Link 4 that's let him get Spectrum +6, Bonus doubler and Canto 1 just by using Reposition
DUO F.Robin + Chrom is literally the easiest option to predict.

They're Robin-g the spotlight from other Awakening characters. Glad we have more support against specials, especially one that is proc'd mid-turn rather than at the start. Gonna be worse in the AI's hands, and better in the player's, AR is safe-ish. Lissa is basically what I use my Edelgard as, a special spammer nuke that heals a bunch, except I much prefer 2 actions instead. She's also not a very flexible Galeforcer, since the healing is kinda annoying. She'll be a nice grab for Time's Pulse, but I feel like only Lissa fans are gonna build her up. Freddy looks to have a prf as well, but he's gonna have to do a lot to compete with some of the crazy axe cavs we have. Kinda a must for him to be a supportive unit, since you can't outdo Rearmed Lucina or Winter Dimitri as a F2P unit. Magic Gambit is strictly going to be used for non-infantry units, especially brave attackers like Reinhardt or Ninja Corrin. Really inoffensive batch of units this time around, and doesn't add to the monsters like Emblem Ike did. Duo Robin will be fun to use if I get her.
with how nonexistent these restrictions to skill activations get i wonder when we finally get "when unit is"

Banner looks alright. I'm gonna summon a bit on this. Hope I can get someone focus from the banner other then the Tempest Trial unit.
I'm looking really forward to duo Robin! Hush Spectrum looks great - it's a non res-check Scowl effect + significant in-combat stat debuff and will probably be a unique status to Robin. And we all know how good To Change Fate is on every Chrom alt!

Me wanted baby Chrom to be the lead unit in the duo 🥲 but ohh well still i want to summon for them also idk it doesn't seem good Magic Gambit 4 but it might be really good in the later game so i might summon more copies that just one , Emmeryn mmm i gonna summon for her althought she just get shut down by Legendary Myrrth and Gatekeeper and Lissa mmm she might come or not but she looks actually good for a 4 star demote unit

To be honest, this Awakening banner is alright but there are some feh players expecting it to be SoV.
No summon for me, used everything for Emblem Ike and I'm going to use whatever I get to get a Winter Dimitri from the Hero Rises banner, only need 20 orbs to get the spark.
By the why, Godzilla x Kong was a very fun movie. It's no Godzilla Minus One but as a action movie, it's great.

Unfortunately it's exactly the Duo I feared (for my two favorite characters of the franchise)... the worst theme they could have possibly given F!Robin and Chrom. As it implies a childhood friendship they didn't have and anything but them being husband and wife. So IS once again doing everything they can to not support them as an S-class pairing regardless of 99.98% of female Robin players marrying Female Robin to Chrom.
Plus the art is very mediocre... but at least she finally got a non-Grima alt and the right duo (just on the worst banner for it)
The best obviously would have been the Bridal/Groom banner, with Valentine's being the 2nd best.
As to the comment I saw on the live stream, it was F!Robin lead and Chrom backpacking because thus far, regardless of it being a duo or harmonic, every character only gets one lead and one backpack. So since Chrom was the lead for Duo Valentine's Chrom, he could never again be the lead, thus F!Robin was the lead and Chrom the backpack. Following through with the logic trend and looking at Winter Byleth as trend, the next Awakening Duo will probably be M!Robin with F!Robin as the backpack on a future seasonal banner.
As to Taco's suggestion of Cordelia and Chrom... couldn't happen as both Cordelia and Chrom have been the lead in a duo/Harmonic. Further Cordelia just got a backpack too, so she's kinda locked out forever of another duo/harmonic unit

Yeah he's pretty bad, he gets stats and a lot of DR that has absolutely no purpose today when every unit released in the past 3-4 months negates or halves DR lol. Not to mention Laguz friend just came out which invalidates DR too. Magic gambit 4 isn't even a good skill either, it just feels like they wanted to make another unit with rally spectrum but didn't know what to put on him. Feels like a mid to early 2023 unit released today with dr negation slapped onto the weapon lol
So glad Male Robin the horseshit is being hated on for once.:)

Easiest skip in a long time. Middling units, terrible character picks. After everything we've been seeing recently, this just feels underwhelming.
